Now having read back a bit, I am saying flat out
Diamond Dog is a Filthy disgusting Pig.
I completely stand by my venomous comments toward his filthy hide.

Aww, someone's got their panties all in a bunch
Seriously, though, that's not cool. He was right to call you out for threatening people. You need to get the sand out of your vagina and act your age.

Mage, At risk of sounding hypocritical, I have to admit that I do worry about your mental health sometimes. And I don't mean that in an offensive way.

Exactamente. A thread started entirely with the purpose of flaming is not needed (or welcome) on this forum. Besides, it lowers the tone of things and creates a bad atmosphere. If you MUST take issue with another member, please do so via private message.

We have to agree.
Fact is that no matter what we say or how we word it, someone somewhere is going to get insulted. One has to be awfully naive to believe otherwise.
There are some who need to grow up enough to learn to edit themselves and some who need to grow up enough to learn to deal with that one simple reality of life. No one is immune to it, but we have gotten so PC about everything that it's impossible to speak one's mind without someone's feelings getting hurt.
Sure DD has rubbed people the wrong way from time to time, but I think that most of us have done that. Either here, out in the real world, or both.
I like to think that, most of the time, when folks say things that some find insulting that it is either they lack a personal editing mechanism or there was no other way to say it.
Or they could just be an asshole.
Whatever the reason, there will be times that one or more of us will be offended by something someone says or does and the person who says it may or may not need to be taken to task for it, but we all need to learn to deal with this kind of adversity.
If one can't deal with that, then how will one deal with real problems when they crop up?

SÃ*. You don't get far in the Flamenco world without knowing a few basics. I have a Spanish amiga who has promised to teach me a little bit, when she has time. But otherwise, I just learn from my phrasebooks. I have some naughty ones too, which tell me how to say things like "Para mi, el accento hispano es sensual", "únicamente mis amigos lo saben", "Con esos pantalones se le va la nalga increÃ*ble!", "Vamos a follar, pero con un condón" y "Necesitamos hablar seriamente acerca de tu comportamiento en público".
But don't ask me how to buy train tickets or ask for the wine menu... I haven't got that far yet! :tong:

For the most part, I remember 2 sentences from my days of studying Spanish.
"Una mas cerveza, por favor. y Donde esta el bano?"
If you use one, it's best to remember the other.
Maybe this idiotic thread is best highjacked, or deleted.

You crack me up, amigo. Just so you know, if you want to buy train tickets, you can say "¿me da un billete para ________ (insert place), por favor?; as for wine, a simple "me gustaría ver la carta de vinos, por favor" works.
De nada
It is a relief to know you practice safe sex, and that Hispanic accent is sexy, by the way.
