FIRE IN THE BELLY
I'm just a little black rain cloud
Hovering over your honey tree.
I'm only a little black rain cloud;
Pay no attention to little me.
Oh, everyone knows that a rain cloud
Never eats honey, no, not a nip.
I'm just floating around over the ground,
Wondering where I will drip!![]()

I hope my achievements in life shall be these: that I will have fought for what was right and fair, that I will have risked for that which mattered, that I will have given help to those who were in need...that I will have left the earth a better place for what I've done and who I've been. (C. Hoppe)
just beat it
Do not think so little of me as to grant me your tolerance. Allow me your acceptance and understanding of who and what I am with the love, respect and dignity with which I do you.
marching to the beat of a different drummer![]()
FIRE IN THE BELLY
Drummer tapping out "Tut Tut, Christopher Robin, tut tut .."
Drummer tapping up Christina Robbins... tut tut... and him a Hibee 2... short shrift did he get...![]()

I'm just a little black rain cloud
Hovering...
oh, wait...this is where we came in, isn't it?
Hows about:
Sing ho! For the life of a bear (ho!).

God.. worra dirge... if u ev get the opportunity 2 watch an England Rugby game played at Twickers, u will understand wot I mean.... dreadful piece of music!!! Didn't do the auld enemy much good in world cup this year.. couldn't even drag themselves out of their group... fun for we Scottish peeps.. Welsh and Irish an' all.. All Blacks, 'boks and Wallabies et all... think they shud find themselves an anthem a tadge more inspiring!
... and so... more importantly, less than 48 hours till the bells, Auld Lang Syne and much snogging at the city party in Princes Street.. o how jolly..![]()

I know where it comes from... am not a complete moron, but sometimes oppression and misery are responsible for less than good music... not everything is good because it comes from oppression and misery.. I live in a little country which has been oppressed by its larger neighbour. Trust me, some of tackiest and yuckiest music has arisen out of that oppression... because something is heartfelt and arises out of oppression and misery doesn't mean it is any good! Matter of opinion sure, but it is my opinion to have and to share.
Why is it an anthem for England's international rugby team? God knows, for a more war-mongering and oppressive nation we have to travel far to find and they drag my little part of the world along with them... not something we from "North Britain" should be proud of.. sad ole world Sysp... lets hope 2016 is a bit less shitty..![]()

I never accused you of being a moron, Dark. Matter of fact, I seem to remember praising you in the past for your intelligence. You're coming across as touchy & defensive; what gives?
Personally, I don't like " gangsta rap, " also evolved from the same misery & oppression, because it promotes random violence if not anarchy.
It was just a sudden mental connection that sprang to mind in response to Annika's last post. I thought that was how this game was supposed to work, similar to a Rorschach Test.
FIRE IN THE BELLY
Oh dear! Don't make me make Rorschach associations with "Annika's last post"!! LOL
I'll back up further to:
Sysper >> Happy New Year >> All is quiet on New Year's Day...
I hope my achievements in life shall be these: that I will have fought for what was right and fair, that I will have risked for that which mattered, that I will have given help to those who were in need...that I will have left the earth a better place for what I've done and who I've been. The moron quip was a turn of phrase.. I didn't mean that u said it or thought it...
Defensive? No.. just arguing my corner. Actually, I loathe rap period. Personal taste again. Words can be very clever and even inspiring, but within rap whatever anyone says, in my opinion, they lose their power.
We go home tomoz for Hogmanay and the New Year.... I intend to be even rattier in 2016 than serpently I have this year past... don't take owt I say as defensive cos things r so shitty right now socially, economically and politically that defensive wont do the trick...
And so.. power to the people, up the workers and the bloody revolution is long overdue!![]()
