Finally getting the nerve to explore my “other” desires... I have a friend that I feel may be interested in doing the same but I have no idea how to go about approaching the subject without possibly causing issues if I’m wrong. Any suggestions?

That is the million dollar question that no one has the answer for. I asked same question about finding out a regular friend and seem to never get a answer!

The sixty-four cent answer is to find a way to bring it up to such a friend and hope he doesn't get offended. A lot of guys try dropping hints, steering conversations in a certain direction to see how they'd react and, sometimes, biting the bullet and just asking if he'd be interested. Like, one guy I know asked me, "What would you do if some dude asked you if he could suck your dick?" and he got the timing wrong because, right before he asked, we were talking about basketball so the question made me think, "Why is he asking me this?" - and such a question that seems like it's coming out of left field, can raise flags in someone's head - and now you might find yourself explaining why you asked of, like I asked that guy, "Did some dude ask you if he could blow you?"

It's never an easy thing to do - you just gotta figure it out the best way you can and with the understanding that it could cause issues that can't be avoided.

Maybe not a good idea with a friend you may end up losing him and especially as you are only curious and might end up regretting it.. excellent point, u wanna start as not obvious as possible. u might wanna start with asking his opinion about lgbt issues, very theoretical & abstract. for example start talking about politics & take ur time to work same sex marriage into the conversation, or talk about food & work ur way to talking about the asshole who owns chick-fillet. if he gets uncomfortable backoff & forget it, if not he might raise the bar a bit, then u do then him & before u know it might lead to some fun times.

it's such a fuckin shame having some kinda attraction or openess or even curiosity for the same sex comes natural to so many people & it stresses them out because society imposes hangups on them & they can't feel free to be themselves in that way. there could be so much more fun being had but for a stupid reason there isn't. why should str8 people have most of the fun? sex should be equally permitted for everyone! more sex!
