What? Plenty of responses but no comments. It would be interesting to know why your choice is what it is and if you're male or female. I checked commando because I like being as close to nude as possible. I have the luxury of being able to dress in loose comfortable clothing most of the time and rarely have to "dress up". I might put on a pair of boxers on the rare occasion I put on dress pants. I don't like the feel of stiff scratchy fabric and change out of it as soon as possible.

That's easy for me. Having been a cross dresser off and on since age eight, I prefer panties. My preference has gone from the new nylon-like fibers to the stretchy cotton fibers, and I prefer women's high-cuts, usually in size seven. I'm donlikesdicks and thanks for asking.
Boxers
I prefer none. I don't wear any most of the time. While at work I wear boxer-briefs just to add an extra layer of protection against all of the stuff in the ship yard.

I've been rethinking my standard boxers this summer.... they don't give much separation on the hot humid days, no support at the gym... been trying a few things lately, thinking of going jock strap at times, all in all - variety is the spice of life.

My only underwear when in the workforce was panties. I had a drawer full of them in different colors and designs. Retired to Florida I wear nothing under, spend most days nude anyway.
I think it's a lot easier than cleaning the couch.

I wear all sorts of types of underwear. Anything tight, nothing loose though. From boxer briefs, to briefs, to thongs, to jockstraps or wear even speedos as underwear. Anything I find sexy and like the feel of.
men's bikini briefs or women's panties. never boxers or men's white briefs.

I like that terminology "they don't give much separation" - exactly how I feel. I like boxers and boxer briefs for lounging at home and for sleeping, but I like briefs, tangas, bikinis for day wear. I get the sexiness, eroticism of commando, but I just don't find it comfortable. I like cotton for its absorbency, but altho I like all styles of briefs, I like as little cloth as possible - but need cotton between my legs. Why? If their breasts are on the larger side, it makes sense to have something to keep them in place.
