I noticed that you also transferred over the "local" events from the previous site. I see the cleveland/akron ohio events and all these are over 2 years old. Is there a way to have posted events to "clear" themselves when the events have expired? Those events that are recurring events should remain.

The old events system had a major bug in that recurring events stopped rolling over after 2009 or '10. On my To Do list is to go through them all and if they are still running, update them, and they should begin rolling over again as intended.
In the meantime, as on the old system, visit the link to reach the event's website to see if it is still running, and when and where.
I hope to have that section of the site cleaned up and running smoothly by the end of the week. It is badly in need of work!
