Are you more into men or women?

I have read various books and websites about bisexuality and they say that very few bisexuals are Kinsey 3s or equally attracted to both men and women when it comes to both sexual attraction and romantic attraction, and that most bisexuals do prefer or lean to one gender over the other.

I do agree that it's impossible to be equally attracted to both genders both sexually and romantically at all times and I've never met anyone who actually is bisexual who claimed to be equally attracted or 50/50 and was equally attracted both sexually and romantically to both genders at all times.

I'm more into men but I have had more sexual experiences and relationships with men and while I do enjoy sex with women at times I do not want a relationship with a woman like I do with a man.

Are you more into men or women? Who do you prefer sex with or fall in love with and why do you prefer that gender?

Romanticly, I'm more into women. I wouldn't even know where to begin as far as having a romantic relationship with another man. I guess I'm just not "wired" for that.

I identify as "50/50" bisexual. Although I've had more women that men sexually, I would love to be able to even up the score but the fear of coming down with something I couldn't get rid of with the possiblity of passing it on to my wife, whom I love with all my heart, tends to keep me close to home with my memories fo days gone by.

Physically, I'd say its pretty darn close to 50/50. Of course, I don't find every woman attractive but nor do I find every man attractive. There are traits (eyes, smile, hands, butt...yes I'm a butt girl) that makes someone attractive to me and it doesn't matter the gender. I haven't taken a tally of the number of times I've said "he's hot" or "she's hot" but I'm sure its pretty even.

Emotionally, probably women. I tend to think like a man, actually a teenage boy as many of my friends have told me, so it makes it harder for me to "be the woman" in the relationship. Plus, I tend to be able to connect on a deeper level with women but with men I have a "just mates" thing going on.

Romantically, I really have no idea. I haven't had a romantic relationship with a woman yet, so I can't compare. Although, I am "talking" to someone now, so I'll let know.

Honestly my feelings change alot when it comes to men.
Sometimes Ill get intensly attracted to them, then at times Im not attracted to them at all. Its strange.
But on the good days, im equally attracted to both, even tho men interest me more right now cuz i havent had one yet.
I do feel like Im capable of loving and being in a real relationship with one though maybe even more than with a woman

It's not a numbers game with me, but I've been with 8 males since I was 14. I have been in love with two of them, deeply cared for 3, and just sex buddies with the rest. All were LTRs.

As I mentioned in an earlier thread, I think I'm homosexual, sexually, and heterosexual emotionally. If I jacked off 365 days a year, I'd be thinking about guys every one of those times, but, I don't think I could ever become emotionally involved with guys as I could with women.

That said, even though I consider myself a homo, sexually, my standards are much, much higher for men than they are for women. I can count on four hands the number of guys I've found sexually attractive to me in the over 35 years I've lived in this town. I find most women sexually attractive to me in one way or another and would have sex with any of them (if I could- one of those Viagra guys, you know). Not so with men.

I have no problem with overweight women. With men it's a disqualifier and the vast majority of both young and old guys I see nowadays are overweight. Many are VERY overweight. I like a little bit of meat on women and get turned on by some quite large women. Go figure.

I might add that if you asked me the same question when I was in my twenties, I might say I was equally attracted to both sexes sexually, or might even give women the edge, male reproductive hormones taking a stronger hold on me back then.

Currently I am in a long-term committed relationship with a wonderful woman whom I adore.

But I appear to be one of those few bi guys who could have a romantic relationship with a man. Not just sex, but flowers and hand-holding and walks on the beach and gentle kisses and staring into a male partner's eyes as we tell each other "I love you."

I suppose that's why I keep thinking that bisexuality is so much more than sex.

Women are for marraige and men are fun, I tend to keep it at that. Men and women have two different benefits and qualities that complement one another. Sort of like ying and yang so it doesn't make sense for two men to marry as they wouldn't complement each other as well as a male female partnership. However sex is sex and is ruled by impulses and desire so if I bang a few men on the side of my marriage no harm done.

It really depends on the person. Some men are lucious and hot ... then so are some women.

I am married to a man, but my sexual attraction to either sex sways different directions in different parts of my life. Could I love both? Yeah maybe... if I found the right woman. I have always been drawn to polyamory even though I haven't ventured there yet. I guess all in all, my possibilities are open.

This is something I've struggled with a lot, since as I was growing up and struggling with my sexual identity I belived being bi was a total 50/50 thing.

Discovering that sexuality has many different "shades" was quite a revelation for me, although there are times I wish I was more bi than I really was.

So, emotinally I prefer women 100%, and physically I also lean towards women about 80%...although there are times when my whole brain goes kind of screwy and I realize that even with a woman there's something "missing."

Well chalk me up as a totally in the middle Bisexual.... I couldn't answer your poll because to me gender is not an issue when considering the person I'm with.

I like to call myself a People Person... I tend to fall for the person... what they have between their legs doesn't really matter to me at all.

I have had loving relationships with both genders, and as far as the sex... sure sex with a guy is different from sex with a girl... but I have never been with one and craved the other.... maybe I'm just weird.

I'm not all togather sure that I can pick one or the other. Sometimes I just want a woman and sometimes I just want a man. I honestly can't say that I have a preference other than the day to day change of mind. This is a tricky question for me. I voted for women because emotionally I find that for me it's just so much more satisfying to connect with a woman on that level than it is with a man. I've never really fallen in love with a straight man, only with a gay/bi man (my ex of 10 years).
Even physically, well, I've always looked at female bodies, ever since I was a little girl. I have memories from when I was like 7 or 8... I remember looking at one of my schoolmates and thinking: "she is so cute". Not an envy thing, just pure awe for her beauty. I also experimented sexually with girls in secondary school, but only had one long boy/girl relationship before my current partner, a woman.
I like everything about women's bodies. The texture, the scents, the fluids... wow, it totally blows me off my feet. I love giving and receiving.
With men, it's more complicated. Beauty is beauty, and I sure can appreciate a men's body when it meets my standards. Being held into a men's arms gives such a nice feeling of solidity and protection. But I am much more selective in terms of what specific acts I am willing to do with men. In straight sex, I don't like oral much, either giving or receiving, and sperm frankly makes me gag. I find giving handjobs pretty boring...
To be honest, all I like about sex with men is receiving penetration. No strap-on could ever emulate the sensations of having a real penis inside you, which is a shame because it's something I really miss (I've been with a woman for two years now). Fingers are more versatile and can give somewhat more intense feelings, but then again, it's different.

There are exceptions to everything. "at all times" is a difficult concept because how long a period are you talking about. I'm sure there is at least one person that would say they are always or never, etc.

I liken the fluidity of sexuality to statistics and calculus, limits, etc. All the various scales and their associated variables in the Kinsey and Klein (KSOG) are "moments in time." How small is the moment? KSOG address present (within a year), past(more than a year), ideal (ideal is not a period of time). One could look at that moment , and each moment, (so, how long is a moment?) as a stand-alone snap shot or average them together or one could graph them for trends or apply statistical formulas to them to include standard derivations, etc. Not sure an emotion can be effectively quantified.

I really like the definition of bisexuality from "Getting Bi"

That way, I can always say "it depends." I really feel I have the potentially to be equally attracted to both males and females (but not all males or all females or for the same reasons).

Polls/surveys are interesting things... statistically, they depend on the population one is polling, the questions that the pole is asked, etc.

For instance, in this poll, by the limited options provided, the pole forces a person, if they participate, to choose male or female. There is no option for BOTH male and female and on the opposing pole, there is no option for NEITHER male or female and it assumes that there are only two "genders" or "sexes" (exluding transgender, Intersex, hermaphrodite, ).

It left me to wonder what is the intent of the poll.

I'm either pretty equal but leaning more towards men or else I'm so into men that I don't want anything to do with women at all.

Tough question dealing with lust or love. Since I'm a male, the love point should direct me to the female side. However, there's a raw lust portion that females can not provide in that area for me. I suspect, females might also find the same from their side. I don't know.

I will say that I've never seen a male that got me hot by their looks - ladies for me, yes indeed. Must be my nature, Ladies turn my head for looking and pairing up with. Must be the Ying/Yang for love and relationship.

Generally more men then women. This is a tough question for me because I have only physically been with one woman. I am extremely attracted to woman, and if I haven't had that fantasy or role-playing side of me satisfied in the bedroom (car, kitchen floor, picket-fence..whatever) then I tend to long more and seem to want more women. I guess it will depend on if I ever get close enough to another woman to be able to answer that question honestly.

On a whole I prefer women. Women are far more beautifull than men and I feel an emotional and romantic connection to women that I do not feel and could never feel with a man.

I'm one of those few bi guys too. While married to a wonderful woman, I have been in a very emotional long term relationship with a male lover. It was actually quite difficult for both of us cause emotions ran too deep, and we had to call it off. I still hurt. BUt I couldn't let it progress any deeper, so we had to call it off.:(.
