The train keeps a rollin' all night long
"Throw Mama From The Train"
OK yeah there's a story that a lot
of us have been through
one time or another one kinda way
or another. About a cat
runnin' round town and his old
lady think she don't want
him around and a whole lot of
people across the tracks are
puttin' him down. No one wants to
face up to that the cat
has somethin' but everyone is
against him because he may be
a little different. So he goes up
the road to be a voodoo
child, to come back and be a magic
boy. Right now we tune
on in to him waitin' at the train
station for his train to come
so he can do his thing.
Well I
hear my train a comin'
I hear my train a comin'
I wait around train station,
waitin' for that train
to take me away
boy, take me the hell out a here
take me from this lonesome town
too bad you don't love me no more baby
too bad your people put me down
put me down
tears burnin' me
tears burnin' me in my soul
a whole lot of brothers gettin'
tears burnin' me in my heart
tears burnin' me down in my soul
too bad you don't love me no more baby
too bad your people, lord, they ran me through
hey hey hey
hear my train a comin'
hear my train a comin'
I hear freedom comin'
I hear my train a comin'
I got to leave this town
lord I got to leave this town
I gotta go on the road right now baby
lord I gotta be a voodoo child baby
go out of your world and become a magic boy yeah
come back and buy this town
come back and buy this town
give it all give it all to you
yeah baby, make love to me one more time
and lord, I got to give it all to you
and all my love is for you
I got to groove to ya
well I hear my train a comin'
hear my train a comin'
hear my train a comin'
hear my train a comin'
hear my train a comin'
lord I hear my train a comin'
one of these days I got to be free
hear my train a comin'
lord I can hear my train comin'
hear my train a comin'

Snickers bars
[Johnnie WALKER -> walking -> marathon -> Snickers]
[NB: "Marathon" was the old name used for Snickers bars in England, until a few years ago when they changed it to match the American name]
“Don’t let hunger happen to you.” “Snickers really satisfies”
"A Mars a day helps you work, rest and play!" (old Mars bar advertising slogan)
[NB: Mars bars are the English version of the American "Milky Way" bar, although we also have another bar sold here of the same name]
“At work, rest and play, you get three great tastes in a Milky Way” (Milky Way slogan)
"Guinness is good for you"
[an old (and somewhat dubious) advertising slogan by the Irish Stout brewery]

We believe in one drink, Guinness the almighty;
Makers of cans and bottles;
Of all that is drunk and un-drunk;
We believe in one brewer;Arthur.
The only son of Guinness;
Eternally begotten of the hops;
Hops from hops, barley from barley,
True drink from true drink.
Begotten, not made
Of one distiller of the Father.
Through it, all things were made
for us men and our salvation.
It comes down from St. James Gate.
By the power of the market, he became incarnate,
and was made a rich man.
For our sake, we are crucified under Pontius Prices,
Bad pints, suffer hangovers and AA meetings.
On the next day we rise again in accordance
with our scruples and ascend into oblivion.
We come again to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in one alcoholic beverage,
Brewed and bottled under license.
We acknowledge one, Arthur, inventor of the almighty pint
Conceived in heaven, and sold on earth.
Blessed is the one drink, through one father and many sons
Sold under one label and distributed throughout the World.
We look for the resurrection of new drinks,
And a cure for hangovers,
Amen.
My current favorite beer.....Blue Moon.
"Blue Moon... you saw me standing alone... without a dream in my heart... without a love of my own...."
Heh... how's my singing voice folks? ;)
Hrmm...well... I think "Men Behaving Badly" is the first thing that springs to mind.
[Just FYI, "Men Behaving Badly" is/was a UK sitcom about... exactly what the title suggests, and an American version was also produced]
Going along with UK television shows...
"Top Gear" (--->auto show in the UK/shown on BBC America here in the States)
Good ol' Jeremy Clarkson... I find him quite amusing at times. Well, lets see... Britain, automobiles... its gotta be an Aston Martin DB5:

'Newbie and I love that show...They're all funny. Did you see the one when they were in the States, seeing if it was cheaper to buy a junky car or rent a car? And they had to drive thru, Alabama, I think it was, and try not to get shot at for what they painted on each other's car....OMG - LMFAO!!!
I actually prefer: The Jaguar....
Cougar (The cat or the car, take your pick)
Toyboy
You beat me to it, Jenn... and I was just about ready with my Snow Leopard picture:

[ps: Jenn... you compared a vintage Aston Martin DB5 with a brand new Jaguar... typical American!]
Ummmm, well, just saw that pic and I liked it, BUT to be fair...I have always wanted a Jaguar, any kind will do from their sports models to the sedans, old, new, I don't care - I just want a Jag!
Boy Toy (--->said on Madonna's belt on the cover of her "Like A Virigin" album)
"We are livin'... in a material world... and I am a material girl!"
[lol, it was either that or adopting African babies...]
Hmmmmm...
"Desperately Seeking Susan", circa 1985:bigrin:
Will & Grace
[Rosanna Arquette, who starred in "Desperately seeking Susan", also guest-starred in "Will & Grace" as Julie, a masseuse who lives in the same building as Leo and Grace]
Harry Connick Jr as "Leo Markus" on Will & Grace..........
Prince Harry
[youngest son of Princess Diana, grandson of Queen Elizabeth the Second, and eventual heir to the throne of England]
The frog prince :P
