Started out as a bet, which I lost and now I'm loving the smooth feel of being shaved. First was my crotch area, now I do it regularly waist down. Feels erogenous especially when I wear a thing or sheer briefs.
Don't try a straight razor!
Lubrication is your best friend. I shave my balls and shaft twice a week. Sometimes I shave all my pubs off. I enjoy my cock and balls being smooth. I either use just soap or shampoo and get really lathered up. Then I use a good old Gillette double edge pivoting shaver. Rinse the blade often. You need to be careful of course. After I dry off, I use witch hazel to close my pores. It doesn’t sting like aftershaves or other lotions.
