Hi All

I was just wondering: there are often posts on here about a bi man in a long-term relationship (LTR) with women and having to (wanting to, choosing to, whatever [it depends on your viewpoint - I don't want this to become another "Is this cheating?" thread]) see other men as well... It's often put down to the men's sexuality...

So, I was wondering if the same happens with bi guys in LTRs with other men? Do they occasionally feel the need to have sex with women? Are friends-with-benefits always other guys, or do some people have female FWBs?

In a long term relationship with a guy right now, 10 months (is that LTR?). I do feel the need to have fun with a woman. The same as when I was dating a girl and I wanted to have fun with a guy.

I'm sure there are others like me so, although the other way around might be more common, I'm sure what you are asking does happen also.

Thanks. I was just wondering as you often hear about it the other way 'round, but not t'other...

PS - Oh, (and maybe I'm not v. relationship-y), but I consider anything over a few weeks an LTR!

I've never felt that I have in me what it takes to be involved with a guy emotionally and sexually so I probably have no real insight. But I must say that it seems to me were I involved with a guy emotionally and sexually, that I would never be able to let go of that with a woman. Sooner or later the need would be too great to have the connection with a woman if even just for the sexual element.
This is what happens in LTR relationships with women for me; I sooner or later have the incredible need sexually for a male. So I would imagine that were I capable of being involved with a guy emotionally and sexually, the need for a woman would be inescapable.
