I'm known for not liking feet, in general, although I do admit that they have their uses...like walking upon them and things like that. I noticed this article today, in Yahoo news and ......well.....:tong:

LOL...No, don't think so, but worse things could happen to feet. Just made me smile.

I wonder if there are any other rather novel ways to give feet a pedicure!!

as a chef, my wife was at the manicurist practically on a daily basis; but a pedicure, the thought made her shriek, so did her own. if she had seen this one, i think she have run from the building!

We saw this in Thiland many years ago on our honeymoon, and Ki talked me into having it done. It is a very unnerving sensation, especially if you are very ticklish, as I am. The little fishes just nibble at your toes for a bit, then the attendant gives you an exfoliating massage that is very nice!
I could have done without the fishies and just welcomed the massage.

citystyleguy....the lady not to keen on having a pedicure, would not have wanted to see the following links......

kiowa....nice to see a post from someone who has actually experienced the little fish. It doesn't seem like too weird an experience. I was thinking it would probably feel a little like wading through rock pools, where little fish, will sometimes nuzzle feet. I reckon that if there was such an establishment, close by, I'd probably try it out, having thought about it. They'd certainly love my feet. LOL.

Below three more links......not for the faint hearted!!

Something to avoid, if feet traumatise you

It appears that even feet that had been disfigured and deformed, through foot binding, received pedicures. How excrutiating, the discomfort must have been. It seems that wealthy women, may have endured the binding and unbinding and re-binding, on a daily basis.

I have a Saltwater Reef tank (hence the name csreef)& when I put my finger in, a cleaner shrimp will come out of nowhere and start to pick at a small scar I have right over my finger nail..

Yes, I have read about shrimp doing a similar thing. Heh! You could be on to something there.....not a ''cleaner fish'' salon, but cleaner shrimp!!!!
