I'm on fetlie as Fiji but...I find its not as friendly a place as it makes itself out to be...definitely an easier place to meet people if you're female...I have a female friend who is on there and here (she actually intro'd me to both sites) and that's her opinion as well......maybe its just my area or something...I dont' have a hard time meeting people so I don't think its just me...

I think the format with the ads etc. makes it more inviting here PLUS...obviously there are more bi males here...and women who are open to it...whereas on fetlife, its most of the guys on there are straight and while being into kinky stuff, aren't too interested in chatting and being friendly with a bi male.

That's just my experience.

To be honest - doesn't seem as friendly to me as here - but I guess I need to give the site more of a chance :)

A social network is entirely different from a forum like this, especially when it's so large (the social network). It's not easy to get a friendly environment with people you don't know directly. I don't spend much time there, except to check on friends who tend to post a lot, or to check out info in the groups, so I'm no expert. I prefer forums where we can discuss a topic and get to know people. Some threads are for just goofing off, which is good, too.

Soft most people react the same way except my friends who smoke "Smoking will kill you" so yeah that's the basis for that statement unless you are talking about the too vanilla for fetlife. And since most of my friends here are also on there with various degrees of participation, that's my basis for that statement.

Sammie, the way it's presented as a fetish on there is that people are turned on by a woman smoking. The way she drops ash, or blows smoke out of her mouth yadda yadda.

Smoking as a fetish has been around a long time.

Like people with other serious fetishes(eg shoes, feet, hair) , some folks even have a fetish about the type (and sometimes the brand) of cigarette they prefer the woman to smoke. I dont pretend to understand it , but there you have it.

Some of the fetishes listed on fetlife arent true "fetishes" in that people dont require them to have sex, they are more just things that people enjoy as part of their sex lives.

Example being bondage, for some - it's a fetish, for others- its more of a hobby.
