On July 22nd thru the 25th there will be a Huge Biker Rally/Gather in Ocean Shores Washington, and this year it is suppose to be Gigantic! Normally we get anywhere from 3000 to 5000 bikers thru there, and its a kick ass time! Bands, vendors, tons of foods, huge fun-raising BBQ, tons of beautiful bikes and a myriad of Gorgeous people..lol
Those of you from Wa. state come on down and see us if you get the chance, would love to meet you!
We'll be in the Veterans Booth there. Look for the Americal flag and POW windsock, and you'll find me.:}

Sounds like fun to me, too bad that I'm all the way across the US. I don't know how events like this go out west, but around here, in the south it will mean lots of necked-ness, lots of alcohol, lots of pot smoking, ETC. I don't see how the bikers can get away with it cause at something like any Gay Pride Event, if you shuck off your clothes and stroll around necked, you will get arrested. Not so at the big biker events. There are plenty of drunk, necked, guys and gals ridding around on motorcycles in the campsite, (more gals than guys though).
Around the last weekend in July will come up the biker event called "Little Sturgis" in Kentucky and "Cave In Rock" across the Mississippi River, in Illinois. Guaranteed that there will be plenty of the afore mentioned activities there!
About a month or so ago there was the "Thunder On The Rock Event" that was on Monteagle Mountain, just north-west of Chattanooga TN. I was there, and yep, plenty of the afore mentioned activities there too.
I must say though that once you leave the campground things do straighten up considerably. Clothes go back on, and the drunks start acting right.
Has anybody been to the Sturgis, South Dakota event? And toured the campgrounds there? DAYAUMM, what a trip!!!
FAIR WARNING HERE,,, If you go to such an event, watch out cause there will be a lot of extremely straight, red-neck biker types there as well as some folks that are into the bisexual / orgy / any kind of sex will do activities. The problem is that if you hit on the wrong guy, he may hit you back!!! This is more so true with guys than gals, gals seem to be more understanding than a drunken, narrow-minded, red-neck.
So, Mountain Cat, let us know how this one plays out, OK? And don't get too far out of control, but have fun, OK?

LOL No Sweet Baby, this isnt That kind of a Biker Event. This aint Sturgus. This a "Family Type" event..lol Look at the web site and you'll see. Many of the fun raisers are for the Diabetes Network, the Cure for Infant Cancer fund, and several others. Its a great deal of fun. I'm sure behind the scenes there's plenty of kick ass fun, but just not at the event itself..lol
