I can't believe it's been five years!!!

Five years ago today I joined this site. I have gained a deeper understanding and a more open attitude about sexuality...and of myself, for that matter. I am extremely grateful for all that I have learned. It's been an incredible journey! Thanks to the many people on this site who have been on that journey with me!

its due to people like you, kate, that I have stayed and argued and debated in the site..... changing and rethinking my life and ways of doing things.....

in a way, that is something that both me and DD are thankful for, as it did indirectly lead to me opening my arms and heart, and front door, for DD....

The best to you Kate. In the years that I have been a member, you have always treated me with decency and respect. It is wonderful to have a woman on here who though is straight understands bisexuality as you do. I only wish there were more out there who were as open minded as you.

Dearest Kate,

Congratultions on such a milestone. I remember the first months that I was on this site and welcomed with such warm and open arms by you. I recall with trepidation as to wheter or not I would be welcome, me the straight wife of a bi man from Boston. You encouraged me, guided me to get to know people, read and make my own judgements about the massive genre of bisexuality. You taught me to know that each and everyone of us is unique and no two people have the exact story.

Recently I was looking for a thread that I recalled posting to and as I was reading back about three or four years ago I came across names which I have missed and who brought life and love into my world. YOU dear lady have brought sensibility, reason, eloquence without belittling the subject or perhaps another poster. You have taken on subjects which other have wish to drop by the wayside. Defended yourself against numerous unfounded attacks over the years as well as come to the side of those whom you feel were dealt an injustice. Your clarity is superior.

Looking forward to the next five years and beyond.
