Okay I have wondered often what people fantasize about during sex. Some of the recent threads on this board made it clear that it can usually be someone in the public eye that is well pretty damned sexy. So I am wondering if it changes when you are with the one you love.

I usually try to stay in the moment during sex. That being said, during solo encounters I usually fantasize about past lovers and situations that might have been.

Same as most I am too into the moment to think of others. My wife and I do at time create fantasy scenes for each other but I don't think that fits the poll question. When I was in my teens and twenties and maybe into my early thirties...I fantasized about certain individuals sometimes while making love/having sex with the person I was in "love" with. But over the last 20 years or so, I no longer have fantasies about others while I am in the midst of sexual activity whether with someone I am in love with or just a casual thing. I am completely in the moment with whoever I am with and this is what keeps my passion going. I really don't need fantasy of someone else. I understand why some need this but I find it a thrill and turn on when I'm with the person I am playing with in those moments.

Interesting replies so far, and yes I deliberately left out an option I considered putting in "Why fantasize? You are with your partner" For me I fantasize to help create a scenario that heightens it for both of us. But in the end it's him and me and what we do together that makes it special. We like to use fantasy creatures as it does away with any hint of jealousy or comparisons. But that's us. Thanks for replying guys and gals :)
