Why? Why? WHY?

I saw at hread with my friends name in the title and I thought "hope nothing's up" and came and saw this!!!!

Just what the hell is it all about?

Is it supposed to be funny?

Has Nubiwoman asked you to do this - has she EVER indicated that she would want to associated in a Public Forum with these kind of images?

I really don't understand why her name has been attached to this - and I'm  !!

Jodphurs are the horse riding slacks that the women in the two photographs are wearing Tx - however there are not normally split at the crutch!!!

I have to agree with Rupert here. Somehow the lovely lady I count as a special friend would not publicly care to have her name attached to this thread without her permission. And to give such permission is way out of character for her. If ya want to post the pictures that is fine but you should re-title it. If for no other reason just for courtesy and repect for this grand lady. CMM

Jamie,

Can I say say how shocked I was to see your profile!!!

In amongst the pornographic photogarphs (which I personally have no objection to you putting up) you have included a picture of yourself with your son and with no attempt at disguising his face.

That is NOT right!!

Man I think you have some issues that need sorting out.

If I were you I'd re-think the profile and what sort of message you are sending out.

If a social worker saw this you would be in deep doo-doo!!

For my friends Rupertbare and Curious Married Man... thank you for being so very, very gracious about my character.. i'm very touched by your concern xx

For Lady D and Peter, who dont even know me.. thank you also for your camaradarie...it means a lot x

For Jamie.. erm I really dont understand why you chose to do this?

I suspect this is in response to my PM to you expressing concern that having facial images of your beautiful young son Alex( who i know you love dearly) alongside some very graphic 'adult' shots, may give some folk the wrong idea?

I wasn't preachy.. only concerned privately as one lone parent to another..

Jamie,
If you look at the preface to the forum, it includes a reminder to "be polite always"....well, you have certainly violated that rule with this extremely rude thread. Why you chose to address this thread to Nubiwoman is beyond me, but if your intention was to hurt her, you have merely shot yourself in the foot!! Those who know Nubiwoman hold her in the highest regard...the many that she has helped in the Forum with her insightful and supportive posts value her a great deal. YOU on the other hand Jamie, have come across as a buffoon...you are obviously completely devoid of character and barely worth the energy it takes to post this response!!! So if you are sitting back feeling satisfied by your actions...take heed...you may have started out as the author of this thread...but NOW you are the focus of derision and ridicule!!! Not exactly what you had in mind now is it????

Nubiwoman...I don't know you very well, but some people I am close to speak so very highly of you. Your reputation precedes you in this situation and there is no cause for concern...You are a very respected member of this community and it would take a great deal more than the musings of an immature fool to tarnish that reputation!!!

Hugs,
Kate

Whoooaaaaa! Where'd i put my steel helmet & flak jacket?

These were posted as a bit of humour! Nothing more, nothing less! If it has caused offence to anyone then i do apologise sincerely.

for nubi, yes i know you weren't being preachy in the least, and i do have the highest regard for you & respect too - i'll get the photie of the wee un sorted out soon!

The items i posted could have gotten a more lighthearted response if i hadn't of put nubi's name up, but i didn't think about it at that particular time. But please remember that they were meant to be lighthearted and funny - it's as simple as that folks!

As for the jodphur images, how often do you see them of this particular style? Very rarely!!

I only have a few issues to sort out in my life, such as getting a better paid job & a newer car! I have travelled all over the world with the armed forces & seen too many things that i would not recommend to the tourist industry - but the forces did give me one thing - a damned good sense of humour whereby you can laugh at things no one else would understand - ex forces bods will back me up on this!

Again, my apologies to all concerned, and take it for what it was meant - a lighthearted joke. the day we stop laughing is the day we have all gone to far in being politically correct!

Jamie:

Goood rely!!

errr.....

Except for one thing!!!

The matter I outlined in my last post that was of great concern to me as a parent of five children.

You have placed a photograph of your young son sitting on your lap. You have neither obscured no diguised in any way at all your faces. And you placed in amongst a lot of hard-core porn photographs.

This is on your "PUBLIC" Profile.

I am alarmed to see this.
A picture of you and your son....well brilliant Brave maybe to not obscure you son's face - means you are not here seeking anonymity.
Hard-core photos.........fine this is an adult site.
BUT
The two together!!! No way mate.

As I said this is a public site and that is your Public profile.

Social workers saw that they would be very concerned.

Oh my, Jamie!,

..... at the back of my mind I did suspect your erm 'military' humour may be behind you posting these pics 'for Nubiwoman!'... I used to nurse, and like you saw too many things that would certainly never be shown on Casualty or e.r...

....and like you i developed a very dark sense of humour.. which is such a huge part of who i am...

....i did feel a bit wierd about those images being posted in my name though and had intended to reflect for a while before responding to you.. however the thread seemed to develop a life of its own and in your absence i felt it important to divert the attention away from my ahem 'honour' being violated  and towards the issue of protecting your wee lads identity from being revealed alongside your very adult pics...

....i'm just glad this is all sorted now!.. plus my head is now so swollen with all this attention..i think i just need to go lie down and recover in a darkened room for a little while!

:bipride: now i think you might have to be on your best behaviour for a while now hun.. well at least til all this fuss dies down!

hugs Jamie..NO hard feelings eh xx love Julie :female:

I have to agree here with what Rupert stated. I don't usually mind what people place on here for pictures.. But putting up all those pictures along with a very sweet picture of you and your son is very WRONG! This is not a place to be adding a picture of your son on. I have a little boy also and it just gives me the shivers to see that. The other pictures are fine, but please, either cover him over or remove the picture.
