May her walk on the Path have been peaceful and tranquil, and may she have been met by many friends and family upon her arrival in the meadow.
She was a great Lady, full of pride and conviction and was very determined to make life better for her tribe, and all peoples.
Payello Sister.

What's even more incredible about Wilma Mankiller's struggle is that even after suffering that car accident and the 17 subsequent surgeries, amongst other health issues, she was still a fierce advocate and leader for her tribe.
