logging into chat

Ok, ive tried and tried to get into chat room for about 2 weeks. I get nowhere.... it takes my log in..scans java etc, but it just stops at "logging in"...and ther it sits.... ive tried both computers here at home, and even other computers...friends..library etc. Ive done a virus scan, re=installed java, cleande out all cookies.. everything..... and still. cant seem to get in chat room. I really hope this isnt the end to this. I miss coming here daily to see everyone ive met, and meeting new people. Please, someone try to help....If i cant get back in, it has been real...ill miss you all...

you reinstalled java and it still won't let you in? Any messages when it just sits there idle? What browser are you using?

are pop ups being blocked......check settings. otherwise dunno. sorry.

I wondered what happened to you! If all else fails try creating a new user name???

rjr try using a different browser: your symptoms are similar to some I had here with IE and yet other times I can't get in using Firefox.....just keep trying...IF you get an error message, copy the msg down and send it to me here: I'll see what I can do to help.

download, install and run that cleaner program (don't worry, it won't remove anything important from your computer)... don't change the settings, just use the default.

also configure your popup blocker to allow popups on this site.

I just installed Java. When I went to the "do you have the snazziest version of Java" site (in Firefox) Firefox popped up saying it needed to get some additional add-ons. After they were installed, chat worked.
