For the record.
A couple of days ago (05 Mar 2010) Vicstar appeared in the chat room telling of suicidal feelings over the split between her and her boyfriend
The following evening (06 Mar 2010) Victstar's ex appeared in the chat room as Peter2010 telling of Vicstar's, apparently self induced, death the preceeding night.
The skepticism that related to the events has been high. Peter2010 has been asked to give some kind of corroborative evidence of the event.

I realize that you wish to remain non-judgmental, Heph....but I think it is prudent to mention that on the night of Vic's threats, Peter appeared less than 30 minutes after she signed off with a freshly made profile in which he told of wishing to bring his new love to the site since he had broken up with Vic. His typing style was one of no capital letters, poor spelling and no punctuation....very similar to the typing style Vic used in her "peotry (sic poetry)" thread. Just saying and sorry if it sounds harsh....but coincidence....I doubt it.

Sounds like we have a case of munchausens' by internet. Nevertheless, I hope vic is alive and well.
Since you asked for information, here are two links that describe the symptoms of munchausens' by internet:

Altho I never wish harm on anyone, I have had encounters with Vicstar in chat. I had to tell her to back the hell off after she was asking me pertainant questions about people that she didnt know. She asked if I had cybered with many of the friends I had on here, and I finally got enough of the idiotic questions and told her to take a hike and stop IM'ng me.
I dont know anythinjg about her boyfriend or her subsequent demise, but if she's coming back in another persona, then I wish she'd go find another chat room for kiddies and let us old farts alone..lol

If this is a case of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf", then it's a very insensitive and asinine thing to do!
The next time that happens, it could be for real and may others maybe less likely to respond to it.
I had a very close friend, who committed suicide, and I failed to see some signals beforehand. I've felt guilty for it ever since.
So, this issue is very pertinent to me and not the least bit amusing!

Would anyone care to PM Drew about this? If nobody will, then I will. This is serious. Either way, Vic, or her survivors', will need serious professional help.

Thanks to all for the reasoned arguments and cautions.
The claim has been logged for all to see. Peter2010 has been asked openly and with equanimity to supply evidence rather than participate in a slanging match. In this, what has been necessary has been done.
The case rests with 'him'.

In case anyone wondered about my mentioning threads, conversations and such following scripts, here's a fine example. Yes, it looks like Munchausens' and may be. It could also be simply a person being a jerk. I'm weary of it all. Might even say a bit jaded. Oh well, we're all human, no?
See, told you I wasn't a complete paranoid nor totally insane, at least not yet. :) "Nah, void never has a clue, is always lost." Void points to his noggin, "yeah."
