It was cold but sunny today and at lunch time a colleague and I took a stroll away from school and down to the river. While down there we heard kids voices from the woods and one raised voice said "She isnae.. she cannae be a f***ing dyke. She disnae look or act like yin". At this of course our ears (at least mine certainly) were well pricked up and we strained to hear more of this fascinating convo. Voices came and went on the breeze and finally one said something I got very agitated about.. "I'll tell ye noo..auld Fannie (surname) will be richt in thaur when she finds oot".

Now those who know me know I LOATHE being referred to as Fannie... Frannie is bad enough but Fannie?? Uggghhh! And being called "auld" (old).. that was just too much...:eek: Auld indeed.. all I can say is pity they still don't have the tawse!!:rolleyes:

But who I wonder is this mysterious person...Fran will havta do sum investigatin...:tong:
