Man, this has been a long hard year...

Many of us have had major changes in our lives, some for the better, some not so good. A couple of our folks here have had some major health issues, one had a family member in the hospital, and now in hospice care. Two lost a child due to miscarriage. Several have lost jobs, and some have lost partners. A couple have had moves, me included, and a couple have had car crashes and fender benders. Some have found new love and marriage, others are dealing with the loss of a family member. Some have moved on away from us, but are still in our hearts. And a couple of our people have walked the Path...
Right now one of our members is in the hospital, and we pray for his speedy recovery.

Through out all of this, the one thing that remains constant is our love and friendship for each other. All of us that know and love each other Outside of the group continues to love and support one another, helping in times of need and being there when a smile or laugh or a strong shoulder if needed.
I dont know about you, but I think this is a Damn wonderful thing! It just attests to the belief that this group Isnt just a sex group...its more like a tight knit loving family, and I for one am Very proud to be a part of it all!

So now that this year is winding down, please take some time to tell the people in your life how important they are to you; whether they be friends, lovers, or people that you consider your extended family.
And here's to hoping that the new year coming will be full of bright promise for us all! :}

Words of Wisdom from a Wise and Wonderful Woman.

I hope and pray for those of us who have had hardships, be they family, financial and friends we have lost.

Hope that the forthcoming year will be a better one for all.

Please tell those you love how much you care.

I gotta admit Mountain Cat, that for me, it has been a strange year also. No big tragedy(s) this year, but a lot of other thinga have happened. And a lot of things that have kept me pretty busy this summer and fall. I mean that I just barely had time to keep up with this site too. Christmas, and New Year will come on us before you know it, and it will be 2010. I hope that 2010 will be a different year also, just in a more positive manner is what I am hoping for. :2cents:
