In the never ending saga of Joh and Kate minus the eight----it was reported that the couple had to pay a visit to the office of one of their lawyers to work out more details of their pending divorce.
I know that Jon is a total ahole of the first order---but he did bring Kate a dozen roses--but she refused the gift.
Who knows his reason for bringing her the gift---but it seems to be pretty petty on her part to have rejected them--I mean---she coulda taken 'em and thrown them in the dumpster the first chance she got--I hate to use this term--but I do ask--why did she have to be such a "bitch" that she could not be gracious enough to just accept the damn roses and let it be that??
They are airing the final episode of Jon and Kate Plus Eight Monday night--but we are not done seeing Kate--she is getting her own new show on TLC that premieres in just a few weeks!!
OH JOY!!!!!!
She is sure as hell getting more than her share of "15 minutes of fame!"
Boy, we have such great people on all these reality shows like the Kardashians, the real wives of Atlanta and Orange County, those nasties they like to put on shows like Big Brother and Survivor---good lord---maybe it is the end of days!!!:bigrin:

actually I am not sure she should be called a bitch or petty for refusing his flowers. It was a meeting at divorce lawyers and it's not exactly an amicable divorce from all the press.
I would be hard pressed to accept anything from someone who I took the step of divorcing, even as you say to later throw in the garbage. Why hide the feelings? It's better she showed him how she felt up front. Just my two cents.

I completely agree. If she accepted them, it would give the impression that she was ok with him giving her gifts and obviously she is not ok with that. And come on, the divorce lawyers office is no place for the one party to begin giving gifts to the other...

I wouldn't have taken the flowers. I think she is very justified in not taking the flowers. He doesn't do anything in public unless its for show. He hasn't even seen his kids in two weeks. But he has managed to get drunk plenty of times.
I used to feel bad for him, thinking she made him less than a man. But seeing how he has been on his own. I came to realize that he was never a man to begin with and so Kate had to be the man and the woman. John needed a mommy, and then wanted to cut the apron strings. Got himself a lil girl that would look at him like he was a man, but even the girls he has been with, say he's not a man.
He needs boot camp. Maybe some strict discipline and surrounding himself with testosterone, will show him what a man is.
Kourtney K. is about to have her baby.
I like Big Brother, last season had a lots of fireworks, specially of you can get the down low from the live feeds or Big Brother After Dark.
Last years contestant, Adam. took his winnings and became a drug dealer, got busted just in the last couple weeks, with 2000 ecstasy pills and other drugs.
yeah Imma dork.

I am not saying he is not a jerk---he sure is--Jon is more of a spoiled brat than any of those kids are!!
To me--- both Jon and Kate seem like self-absorbed jerks--I don't know which one is the worst---they both have hardly acted like mature adults. They chose a course of action that could lead to them having a big family--and that is what happened with them.
They wound up with eight children, children who should be their main concern--it seems, at least from what we get via all their trash getting played out in public that both of them are more concerned with their personal situations than what is best for those kids.
I don't care much for either of them--I watched about 20 minutes of one episode of that show once and was turned off immediately by them both---but it seems that you cannot get away from them--I go and turn on AOL and Yahoo---what do ya have as featured "news" stories?? Stories about them!!!
It seems you cannot get away from them--its enough to make me want to move to some remote island someplace without TV, cellphones and the internet---ENOUGH OF JON AND KATE GOSLIN I say!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The same with Carrie Prejean!!!!! At least it seems that Parris Hilton is kinda yesterday's news!!!
Vile, vain, disgusting people they and so many others who get so much press these days all are!!!!

Yes LittleRay--I have seen that show a few times and it makes my heart glad when the car shuts off, the doors lock and the auto-theft detail officers swarm the car with their weapons drawn--then they take down those creeps and take em off to jail.
I do like some "reality shows"--like "Deadliest Catch" "Dirty Jobs" "US Marshals, "DEA" and others--those are for the most part actually capturing what is going on the world--not trying to direct an outcome of sorts and those shows are about real people doing real jobs---not glory hogs trying to win some money or become the next hot flash in the pan celeb/papparazzi magnet.
I am not also against those other "reality shows" that have families in them--I really liked the Roloffs--they are the family from Oregon, lead by "the little people" couple. I liked them all quite a bit, but the couple were already mature people and the kids were not babies when they started. It was interesting to see the changes that family went through good and bad--and to see their children grow from being "kids" to young adulthood--it was sort of like being part of their family to get to share those things.
I guess with the Goslins--I got an immediate viseral gut reaction to them in the first few minutes I watched that show--at that point-it was long before it was made public they were having marital problems. It was no shock to me when those fatal problems were made public and to be honest--as I said in a posting when it did---I was almost kinda "happy" that they were breaking up. I felt that there was a highly exploitative aspect to doing a show about that family with those young children.
Everything about that show, to me, was simply WRONG!!! I am glad its going out of production--but I bet TLC is going to milk that one till its dried dust though!!

I have to say, if I was in their position and had that many kids, I'd be scared shitless. Mouths to feed, butts to diaper, college funds to set up...DEAR LORD. If a network came up to me and said they would pay me X amount of dollars to film me and my life with my family...well...I can't say that I wouldn't do it.

I don't think J&K is the only reality show with lots of kids on TLC. They have 18 kids and counting and the other family that has multiples.
I don't blame them at all for doing the show, gave their children lots of opportunities, but when you sell not only yours, but your children's souls to television. You can't really piss and moan that you being an asshole is publicized all over TV. (John G.)
And the show is just changing, They are in production of "Kate plus 8".
I have watched a total of 1 show and that was the finale when they announced the divorce. TMZ gives me info and God dang THE INSIDER ( FUCKING GET DONNIE AND MARIE AND HAILEY AND John G (http://www.tmz.com/2009/11/23/jon-gosselin-kate-gosselin-plus-8-finale-clip-tlc-video/) OFF THE DAMN SHOW.) Sorry for that, but I get sick of seeing the same douches while folding clothes after dinner.
I am growing a great fondness for "It only hurts when I laugh". Its like funny home videos without the cute kids that always win. Ohhhh mommy I took a poo poo.! YEah its worth 10,000 dollars! Whoo hoo. *blech*

I have only seen bits and pieces of it---but I like that one with the family that has the 18 kids----I guess it just comes down to the fact that something turned me off about Jon and Kate initially---and nothing has happened to change my view of them--and in fact--the things that happened subsequent to that and the way they acted in all of this only added to my negative reactions to them.
I am the kind to try to give folks "the benefit of the doubt" "live and let live" and all of that--but I don't seem to be able to do so in their cases---same goes for Carrie Prejean----not that it matters one whit what you or I think of any of them---I just wished that they would all go away from my television and computer screens!!!!
I just had some other headline story pop up on some site before I got here about "Jon and Kate!" complete with thier mug shots!!! UUUUggghhhhhh!!!!!!:bigrin:

UGH I hate the family with 18 kids. The damn Duggars...Yeah it's all well and good that you want to have a large family and you know you can because you have the money to support them so all the more power to you, but several of the older kids stated that they dislike living in a large family because they kind of end up taking on a parent role the majority of the time to get by. Only makes sense, you can't have a family like that and take care of everyone and raise everyone all by yourself. Everytime they have a new kid, those older ones know that it's just going to be more that they are going to have to do, which isn't fair to them. They aren't the ones having kids but they are the ones being forced to take care of them too.

There ya go Rissa-with these gudderned "reality shows"---there is plenty of things to dislike about pretty much every one of 'em!!!
Like I said, though--I had only seen bits and pieces of a few shows and dang it if it wasn't one of those deals---I kept tuning into the same episodes and picking them up at almost the same exact point each and every time!!
Now what in tarnation is up with that?? I get that alot these days with shows!!!
:bigrin::bigrin:
I guess I haven't seen enough of that show to make a complete assessment of it--but at least I didn't want to puke when watching the parts I did see!!
