does anyone know how to change an ad from couple to single? my girlfriend is moving away and i'll be single again and i can't seem to get rid of the 'age of 2nd person' info. there MUST be a way to change this back couple to single or back again, isn't there?

Ya know, in my ad it says the same thing. My husband info is there. However, when I changed it from couple to single, it worked to some extent because if you see my name under who's online, it shows that I am a single female...sigh.

rissa...exactly! i tried sending a message to the powers that be but got no response. i was hoping someone might've found a solution. maybe it's time to create a brand new profile?

try this

on the home page, click 'my account' and your profile page will open.

scroll down to the info for the 2nd person and remove it, field by field.

scroll down to the very bottom and click 'save changes'.

if that doesn't work, first of all make a note of all the info in your profile that you DO want to keep, then, at the bottom of the page, click 'reset fields', which should empty out the fields.

From this point you should be able to rebuild your profile from scratch. Hopefully this will work.

i've tried step one numerous times thinking maybe it would
take a day or two to 'take hold' but it hasn't worked.

i tried the other option and 'reset fields' nets me nothing either.

i guess a whole new profile then?
that's a shame.
you lose the name recognition with people you've been in contact with in the past, and others who are paying attention will see a new profile matching an earlier one and assume you're a spammer.

hmm.....before you change your account, dump your temporary internet files (cookies too) and check to make sure that my first fix didn't work.

if you have to recreate an account,, there is no need to lose EVERYthing (name recognition), just create a new account with the name "temp3302" or some such... change just the numbers.

Try going to MY ACCOUNT and at the bottom of the page there is a reset fields button. I think it will erase the whole page but it would be better than starting a new profile. Hope this helps....Take Care!
