I was just emailed this...... I will be interested to know more about it if anybody knows anything about it......
after the hype of brokeback mountain, I couldn't laughed at the ideal of another * gay * movie.... but I am not sure what I think about this one.....

I know that neo nazi can be offensive to people..... but I also understand that neo nazi are human too and not immune to being LGBT

A Danish movie about a gay love affair between two members of a neo-Nazi group won top honours Friday at the Rome Film Festival, while Helen Mirren won the best actress award.

Mirren won for her depiction of Leo Tolstoy's wife in Michael Hoffman's The Last Station, while Meryl Streep picked up a career achievement award.

The winning movie, Brotherhood, takes a hard look at the neo-Nazi group that the leading character, Lars, joins after leaving the army. The group carries out raids on homosexuals, but Lars and his mentor in the group, Jimmy, begin a love affair that they try to keep secret.

Brotherhood is the first feature film by Nicolo Donato, a 35-year-old who previously worked as a fashion photographer.

The jury handing out the awards was headed by Oscar-winning director Milos Forman.

The best actor award went to Italy's Sergio Castellitto, who played a single parent and blue-collar worker dreaming that his son will become a boxing champ in the movie Alza la Testa.

The festival paid homage to Streep through the career award and a retrospective of her work. Her cooking flick "Julie & Julia," in which she plays Julia Child, was shown out of competition and was chosen to close the festival.

At the award ceremony, a black-clad Streep was presented with the career achievement prize by Giuseppe Tornatore, the Italian director who won an Oscar for best foreign film with Cinema Paradiso.

When I was in the Army, I knew a fellow who was a gay-basher. He'd go out of his way to harass anyone he thought might be gay. He had some radical ideas and would be the type you'd expect to see join some of the radical militias, or hate groups.

One Sunday, I had to ask the barracks NCO something and when I knocked on his door, it opened. (It was locked, but the lock was not engaged with the striker, thus not securing the door)

I was shocked to see that gay-bashing asshole down on his knees, sucking the sergeant's cock!

Needless to say, since any homosexual act in the Army (back then) was an immediate induction to Leavenworth, he was scared out of his wits! They both were.

I never told anyone, but after-wards, I reminded him of what a hypocrite he was and if I ever saw him being mean to anyone again, I would let it be known what I saw. I never did see him act that way again....I'm not saying he didn't do it, but I just never saw it.

wow, sounds like a typicial macho closet case in denile, being mean to other gays and bi's to hide his true feelings from his peers. to me this is the worst kind of person, because their not only in denile but are so scared others might think or find out they are other then what they appear to be and they hurt people physicialy and emotionally sometimes even taking it to the extreem of murder in order to hide what they truly are. what a prick.

Not much of a surprise really. The original nazis had their boost from those who were gay. *See Ernst Rohm and some of the SA*

I found the trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbyFZ9g_RXQ). It actually looks really good- I want to see it (although I hate it when I want to see foreign films . . . getting a hold of them always is so difficult).

WOW L-D-D that is quite a story! I bet that "Hogans Heros", with Bob Crane could have made a real good, neo-nazi gay-bi porn flick. At the time that they were filming the movie and the TV series of Hogans Heros. That Bob Crane, at the time was married, but still a real hollywood player. And that he was Bi-Sexual and made a bunch of home movies of his sex parties.
 Could you imagine,,,,,Hogan piled on top of Scholtz a pounding away, while Scholtz was servicing Col Klink???
Yep, that would be quite a porn flick comedy. HUH? Your friend, :doggie:

I am not for censorship of movies even if they deal with non PC subjects like neo nazis or white supremacists.

The movie American History X deals with these subjects and it shows how racism and white supremacy hurt people and break up families.

I am actually curious as to how they protray people in the movie.....if its another * gay * movie like brokeback mountian or if its actually a honest unbiased movie....by that I mean that its not a quick kiss on the cheek representing the gay aspect and then they go bang a few woman.....

if it is indeed a gay love affair with no female contact, then it could be interesting to see the two * worlds * combined in the same * universe *

and American history X was a brillant movie.... well protrayed
