OMG Joe, is this really on the BBC? !

It reminds me of that episode of The Simpsons "Blame it on Lisa" where they travel to Brazil and the educational program on TV has blond models bending provocatively backward against a large plasticine letter "C" and demonstrating the difference between "on top of" and "beneath"

Joe,

I haven't laughed that hard in a very long time. I can't imagine that the BBC would actually present that without ramifications, but as a child, I would have been snickering at the hokey acting. As an adult, I was laughing until teared welled up.

Thank you for a wonderful start to a Saturday morning.

Oh my God-that was some funny stuff!!

I am sure that the writers and performers of that show knew exactly what they were doing and having a "Cheeky old time of it, you know!!"

Man---I bet there was lots of "playing with balls," "blowing instruments," and lots of "plucking with twangers" going on amidst the cast and crew of that show---it was probably one big old orgy time!! It looked to be the late 60s or early 70s--so you know there was plenty of "plucking going on!"

Thanks Joe---but dude---you have WWWWWWAAAYYYYY Too Much time on your hands if you can find humorous, but decidely obscure, stuff like that on the net!!

That was incredibly funny Joe. Very, very funny. Rainbow was a programme for pre-school children in the 1980s. I remember it well. My sons used to watch it. I think this was probably something that the team recorded as a bit of fun....and never for broadcasting. I've seen the singers and the presenter, interviewed a few times and I think they used to get fed up with everyone thinking they were just like the characters put forward in the programme.

Bungle bear was never the favourite with cildren. I think most liked Zippy, because he was always getting into mischief.....George was a little too angelic. The BBC didn't show the programmes, it was on commercial TV, so this may have come from one of those TV shows where they show ''send ups'' of either serious or light matter.

Very funny. Very, very funny. Good to see the people able to laugh at themselves. Gee....they are all ancient now...not that anyone is ancient, really. We all know that.

"Well you managed it last night"
"I know well lets try it the other way around"
"Oh Jeffrey have you dropped one?"
"I've got it in"
