I have empathy, but I have a sense of humor. I never hesitate to help my fellow man.
And then laugh my ass off at him once I'm sure he's still alive. :D

Taylor, I know you are a good person...intelligent and caring. I appreciate that everyone has their own level of humor, too. But, for me, I can't see humor in anyone else's pain.
Some minor accidents, are funny to me, but this fellow just laid there, he apparently was hurt.
I'd be less inclined to watch and laugh, than rush to his aid.
The shows, like Jackass...................they are just too uncomfortable for me to watch; even though everyone involved thinks it's funny, I just feel their pain.
Different attitudes, ideals and humor...different strokes, I guess.
