Certainly not. I've heard from many people who just don't like porn- it isn't exciting or fun for them, not a turn-on, and in some cases, even a turn-off. Typically I hear it more from women, but there are some other guys out there like you.

I don't see anything wrong with it . . . heck, I'm sure your fantasies (or reality?) are just as rich, or even more so, than our porn-influenced ones!

Also, as others have mentioned, there does appear to be a male/female divide when it comes to porn. While my wife does not mind me watching porn, she says it really does nothing for her.

I am not a fan of porn of any sort either-but I do like to watch the vids that "real people" make of their sexual play and post them on sites on the web.

I wished I knew more about video production and such from the technical side----I would like to try to produce my version of "porn"---something with at least some sort of minimal and realistic storyline to it--my problem would be that I would prefer to use those who have some degree of acting skills and are a real couple or are so good at "sexual acting" that you get a sense those people have some history together or at least---they have some instant real attraction other than the fact that they both want to fuck----most of the actors who do porn--- they might be good at performing sexually----but very rarely do you get a sense there is some sort of real connection between those engaging in the sex that would make for a plausable attraction and chemistry between them--it all seems so faked and forced.

Watch hentai them, just voice over actors and i have heard that alot of the Japanese voice over actors dont do regular porn and are treated alot better :bigrin:, not the same matter with the American and European voice over actors though, they seem to all do real porn as well as voice acting hentai.:(

For me the most important thing is that what is going on is really happening....in other words, where the action that is happening is really real as in the people are truly turned on with actual response and stimulation where it doesn't matter whether a camera is there or not.
I have never cared for the porn where there's a script with crappy acting. Or the dull and boring porn where people are going through the motions and they stay in one position for 5 minutes before alternating to another position and then once they do, they go through those motions for another 5 or 10 minutes before changing and the whole time lacking any kind of real passion...it's obviously just a paycheck for them.
Or where the performers are playing up to the camera to somehow turn us on more by their over emphasis in being sexual and raunchy to impress...
And of course, lousy camera work....

I think that quality porn is the sort where when you're watching it, you are completely captured by it because those who are playing do not ever give any indication that a camera is on them or barely do. They are genuinely turned on by what they are doing and with what is being done to them... They are actually getting into it because they really are into the act.
You can definitely tell when a woman is being stimulated and all the little nuances that lead to the final outcome with her orgasm. When it's really happening and is caught on film, one can't help but be turned on by it.
With guys of course it's obvious when orgasm happens, but to make it interesting, the guys have to also be tuned into the women or men they're playing with or it's so very dull. Again, camera or no camera these people are really getting into actual passion with each other and genuinely stimulated. It just happens that a camera is there to capture these real moments.....
Such porn is definitely out there but unfortunately, you have to find it. And there's so much crap porn out there that it's no wonder that a lot of people are not turned on...there is more crap porn than quality porn; by far.
My guess would be that percentage wise it would measure something like: garbage porn--85 to 90% and quality porn---10 to 15%...roughly.
For those who said they aren't turned on by it, I think for all I described above is more than likely the reason(s). Quality of porn is somewhat similar to our own personal experiences.....so much depends on chemistry...
But I will add that I understand the NO interest in porn when most of it really is garbage...
I just wanted to point out that like anything else, one has to look for quality.
When you experience quality porn, you will know it that's for sure....
Naturally it's always better to be with someone than to watch porn any day of any week of any moment; period!
