A woman here wrote in a post that she would have been gay had she been a man. If you were the opposite sex what kind of sexual orientation would you have?

If I was a woman I would probably have been straight and monogamous. I guess I would have found other women attractive as well though.

I think I would have been tough on the inside and soft and feminine on the outside. However, I have never imagined myself as a mature woman - only a young one. Someone like a Barbie doll with an intellect, dressed in tight jeans, with oriental earrings and long partly bleached hair. This is also a woman I somehow fall in love with as a man.

Whenever I imagine I'm the opposite sex, I've always pictured myself as a very straight guy. Probably feminine in feelings and pretty sensitive, but still a straight man sexually. As others point out if I was a woman more than just my gender and physical attributes would have changed so things might seem entirely different.

Having said that, I've often thought it's good I was born a man because if I grew up female in the same circumstances I would've loved the attention and affection of men probably quite a lot. maybe too much and had given birth to one or more children at a very young age.

Truth be told for a short time I thought I wanted to be female, things - on the outside at least relationships seemed easier for them - I was jealous of how easily men were attracted to them.

I've learned to live with the factory installed equipment, it's just easier - and a lot easier once you come to the realization of just how fake the stereotypical male image really is..men really CAN show emotion - honest.

With time comes wisdom and I have to say I've watched the women I've known struggle very hard and overcome many obstacles using their strong hearts and minds..being a woman is definitely not "easier".

Conversely some women seem to be jealous of the "independence" of men, and while there is definitely some societal bias that grants men privilege and power, always having to be the "strong" man has a lot of disadvantages as well.
