Remembering 9/11 is vitally important in my home on a number of levels, one of which is respect for the memory of the lives lost.

On 9/11, we line both sides of our entire driveway with simple, white luminaries. At dusk, we light the luminaries and they burn through the night, self-extinguishing.

People slow in front of our house, to view the display. While many don't or won't realize the meaning of the display or correlate it with the day, others do.

Those that remember, value their freedoms...

Those that forget, well...

Beautifully Bi, that is such a thoughtful and caring gesture. I think about the horrific events of 9-11 everyday. Everyday. Many folks who died lived here in north Jersey. I can not believe that it has been 8 years.
