Dammed ole environmental nuts will probably figgure out a way to stop the oil co's from accessing it. And the gov't will probably go along with the enviro nuts too. I mean Al Gore will have to stop this somehow in order to "save the planet" :banghead:
I wish this country could go back to the old ways of saving just a few soul's instead of a whole damm world.

If we don't have a war for oil, it'll just be something else! You can't have the military budget and "defense" industrial capacity we have and not get the "itch" to use some of those goodies. You know, sort of like "build it and they will come" - only in this case it's; "build 'em and then we need to justify using 'em..."

And whether one believes in mankind's contribution to the damage done to the environment or not, I ask; Can it ever be wrong to try and pollute less? Can it be wrong to try and conserve this great oil find for future generations? Can it be wrong for our country to try and get in front of the "green movement" instead of watching the Chinese become the leaders in that too?
I think one need not believe in man made global warming to see the wisdom in doing a better job than we have so far....But your probably right, it'll be back to cheap gas and big cars....
