When Anchorage Mayor Sullivan vetoed a gay rights ordinance the words that came to my mind were Who's Next? Clearly he circumvented the will of the people and it's was time to protest and protest we did, and will continue to do so.

If we chose to allow the most vulnerable in society to be picked off because they don't conform to a religious standard (Rev. Jerry Prevo www.ancbt.org pressured Sullivan's Veto) it's just a matter of time before they come for you. Who's Next? Let's not wait around to have that question answered.

The Revolution is now!:bipride:

This is what happens when right wing Christian head cases, instead of patriotic Americans, take over governments in this country.

First they came for the Communists,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Jew.
Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me,
and by that time there was no one
left to speak up for me.
