Dang, its only supposta come in 3's..looks like someone accidently left the tap on somewheres.
Billy Mays, the loud Pitch Man for many products, was found dead yesterday by his wife. He was 50 years old, as was Michael Jackson.
He took a hard knock to the head when a plane he was in had to make a hard landing due to faulty landing gear, but said he was fine.
He complained of not feeling good right before he went to bed that night...he never woke up.

Wow..scary.

This is some scary a$$ sh*t.

I prepare for camping to find out that Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson die in the same day. We lost Ed a few days before that. I leave for camping. On the last night of camping, Sunday, I receive a phone call that the restaurant I worked at for the past two years closed at 4pm due to poor customer turn out (business has been open for 5 years...yay IHOP!!!), and I have to find another one to work at. THEN I come home from camping to find out that Billy Mays is dead too. The only good thing to come out of this weekend is:

* I got my drivers license on Saturday!!!!!

* I'm on this side of the dirt!!!!!!

Other than that, I'm rather bummin:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

The autopsy results on Billy Mays are in-he had an enlarged heart--that is what did him in.

What we tend to forget in our day to day lives is that about 150,000 people die every 24 hours. It just happens that more than a few people just happened to be public figures.

To quote Jim Morrison "No one gets out of here alive".

Me too, I am 62, which is a dozen more years than 50!!!! :tong:
Me too, even though my savings have been turned to trash, my house is worth less than I paid for it and I support a friend who is going bankrupt.
Me too, even though I will now never be able to retire until I am on the otherside of dirt.
Me too, when, I wake up in the morning and my knees hurt as I stand up as I get out of bed.
Yes!!! All of that makes me smile because it confirms that I am on this side of dirt!!!!! :tong:

I must confess that at 51, it makes me ponder mortality when two high visibility individuals drop dead at 50....BUT...it just makes me more determined to live each and every single day to the fullest!

Just across the newswires---- actor Karl Malden died today at age 97--now that was a good long life---I have seen him in roles in movies going back to the 40s, but for most of us--we knew him best as Inspector Mike Stone from the 70s crime drama--"The Streets of San Francisco" which co-starred a young Michael Douglas.

RIP Karl Malden
