Just got this in our e-mail and wanted to let everyone know:
HSBC will be holding a Yard Sale on
Saturday, June 27 in the East Lawn from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m.
All proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Broward County.
(We are not looking for donations, as we are selling HSBC items)
Please help spread the word.

where & what are they getting rid of?
earlier in the year I gave a charity donation to the Humane Society & I think it was the Broward County but I can't remember..

It's the one on Griffin Rd by 95. Not sure what they are giving away, precisely, but it is things from the HSBC.
Probably pet supplies and accessories.

So long as the cash doesn't go to HSUS (Humane society of the United States) and goes to helping animals, bonus! It sucks I couldn't go down there and contribute a couple of dollars.

HSBC is in NO WAY associated with HSUS. We volunteer there in the PALS program. We sit in the kennels with each dog and keep them socialized and it is hard to leave and not say "we will adopt this one".
It is a no kill shelter and the only time that they put an animal down is if it is completely incapable of being socialized or if it is so sick as to be inhumane to keep it alive.

and HSBC is not a bank either... lol
do not click on the link because if you take 1 look at the dogs or cats up for adoption it will break you heart and before you know it you'll be adopting one asap...
I know where it is & this is the same society where I donated too..
