There has never been a greater game, more comprehensive and exciting game to grace tv screens. It filled my youth with endless hours of joy and wonderment, and at least 3 friends.

I saw this recently on youtube and instantly felt I was a child again:

Doesn't it transport you away to a land of awe and adventure, one that no adult mind can comprehend? Goodness, it makes me tear up.

I was more a Final Fantasy nerd myself. VIII and IX were the best (even though I never finished the latter). :)

You may be shocked to know I've not played any FF.

I have fond memories of many adventures with Link in his quest to save Zelda, thanks for sharing.

I'm sorry, I think you meant to say IV was the best. Seriously... you need to play it.

Please don't make this about FF. :(

Apologies. The Zelda games were always great as well. The original Legend of Zelda for the NES was the first game that allowed saving, btw.

Yes, yes I am a geek. Excellent observation.

Thank you. I do try.

Anyway, yes. Zelda probably has affected my childhood in ways I can't imagine. Similar for many other people too, I'd say. It's constantly rated as number 1 game of all time on lists, rankings and charts. :)

FFVII was the best to me.
Zelda I couldnt really get into but I wanted to.
And not to sound like a loser but kingdom hearts is actually one of the best RPGs to me and star ocean on the ps1 i never played the newer 1.

Ocorina of Time has always been my favorite Zelda. Although, I just got Zelda for the DS and it's not too bad so far. Definitely aimed towards a younger group of Zelda players...but still not too bad.

I used to have the original Zelda but I sold it and the system. I'd love to have them back now. Oh well. Hindsight is 20/20!

I liked Ocarina of Time, despite the kiddy graphics. The Zelda for Wii however is now my favorite.

my favourite zelda was part 2 for the nes. link's adventure i think was the name. i played that one before the first one and fell in love with it at age 7. i liked the rest of the zelda games as well. ocarina of time was an excellent game just too easy for me.
i love ff6.
as for now i play dance dance revolution, pump it up and in the groove. this proves that video games work as a workout. if u like video games and love dancing then try these dancing games. they're my workout!

I think he's trying to be smart.

Take note that the "study" was limited to the Sea-Tac area, not nationwide, so is limited in scope to the area that it took place.

Washington state, being a northern state, has a few months every year where people do not go out unless they need to.
In that particular area the weather is particularly wet, rather than snowy, which keeps people indoors when drier and snowy areas would have them outdoors instead.

My wife and I have been playing video games for almost a decade and we are, by no means, even close to becoming obese.

Ocorina of Time is an amazing game... It reminds me of a time that I wanted fantasy to be so incredibly real...

I've been a fan of all Zelda games however. I'm just getting in to twighlight princess.

I couldn't like windwaker, it just pained me to play it.
