Hello all, thought I should do an official hello as I joined today and have been surfing different threads all day long.....

I'm a 28 yr old girl from the UK. Currently single and not really looking for a relationship, friendship is more important at the moment, maybe a bit more...... I'd like to finally decide what or who I am, as that has been quite confusing over the years. I've had experiences with girls, although none recently. I think I tried to forget that part of me, thinking (hoping) it might be a phase.

I suppose growing up means becoming comfortable and accepting of yourself and that's where I'd like to be. I think I'm gonna quite like this place!

Welcome home.

There are a lot of threads covering different subjects here, so look through them if you have a question. Chances are it has been covered here.

And if it hasn't been covered, then feel free to ask. There will be lots of people that can help you sort things out.

Nice thing around this board. You won't get flamed regardless of what you say. If you do, then there's a bunch of us that will blow that flamer out.

Plain and simple.

Be yourself, enjoy talking and expressing your thoughts.

Welcome!

Welcome from another newbie... It feels very nice and accepting here, so I hope you stick around. I know what it feels like not knowing who you are, as I am still having trouble accepting my sexuality, but I've noticed that reading other people's stories makes me feel better, like I'm not alone in this.
My advice is this: try not to pidgeon-hole yourself or your sexual/emotional preferences. This is what I've been doing for ages, but it only makes things worse. You are unique and this should be something to value and cherish, not merely a weight on your shoulders (I'm saying this to myself too... talk about self-help! :tong:)
So, again, welcome!
Hugs,
Indaco

Welcome! This is a wonderful place to find acceptance and information as many have already noted. I struggled all my life about my sexuality until 11 years ago and finally accepted and embraced it. Since then I have truly enjoyed my life all the more and especially in the area of my sex life. Move through it all slowly is my advice and as has already been pointed out, there are many here who are willing to help in advice from their own experiences that might give you insight to anything that might be troubling you. Again, welcome.....
