I'm deeply spiritual (but not remotely Christian, and I don't proselytize), and intellectual. I love talking God, so if you're curious ask away.

I love music, sci fi, and studying religion.

I'm disabled, so I don't work, but harbor dreams of going back to school. My social life is pretty centered around my church (UU), but I'm looking to expand it.

Looking to break into the PDX queer community, so if there are any locals about, I'd love to meet up for coffee or something.

Hello Storm, I'm Cat. My adopted "kids" have an Adult Lifestyler's group there in Portland/Vancouver, and might be able to give you some info on the Queer Community there. Feel free to contact me off board.
Welcome to the group.

Thank you! What does "Adult Lifestyler" mean?

Lifestylers=Swingers. But they know many many folks there and could possibly put you in touch with those of the Gay and Lesbian community. :}

Oo. We would get on well then. I'm a sci-fi nut. What kinda music? And I developed a fascination with religion since becoming atheist, I discuss it all the time with my Muslim friend. :cool:

Celtic eh? [rubs chin]. Here in New Zealand my grandfather is famous in country music circles. Dusty Spittle, Kiwi Storyteller.

I used to like country but no I find it difficult to enjoy. Nowa days I like {rock + electric = awesome}. If you youtube search "Pendulum - Granite" you'll see exactly what I mean.

Classical is hard to beat. I think my favourite classical song is Ave Maria.
