I have not purchased anything from Amazon in years because they are just too overpriced. But here's another reason not to:

I guess that Amazon's business is so good that even in this worldwide negative economy, they can alienate "ten percent" of their client base and a few added percentage points of those who while not "gay"--will not tolerate and support such a policy as self-censoring "gay" books.

This doesn't make much sound business sense----in a rational business plan---you try to grab dollars from whoever will buy the products or services you offer---and make it as easy as possible for ANY potential customer to spend those now rare "dollars."

This is true even in "the best of times" in terms of the economy and now--we are in "the worst of times" economically----at least the worst such time in a generation.

Whoever came up with this new policy must be crazy-and as are the others who signed on to it--in an organization like Amazon---I would think that decisions like this are now made by committee and not the whims of one person considering the size this company has reached.

Bully for Amazon if they can cut off basically somewhere between 10-20% of their business right off the top!!! Wow----life must be good at Amazon!!!
