I found the video of Man From Earth online, completely by accident, but its one of the best we've seen in a while. Its a small budget indy film that has won many awards, but hasn't had wide distribution yet. A dinner party conversation doesn't sound like much of a plot, but when the protagonist claims to be a 14,000 year old Cro-Magnon there is a lot talk about.

I'd love to hear others impression of the film, so let us know if you've watched it.

The film sounds very interesting---but I had never heard of it--I guess it wasn't a huge blockbuster, playing on screens all over the country and getting a bajillion dollar hype budget!!! LOL

It is something the number of "quiet" films of great quality or at least being very interesting with some depth that get made-----but you hardly hear a word of them---at least they do put them out on DVD so someone can see such films.

It is films with actors like Seth Rogan and Anna Faris playing idiots or big noisy films full of hot cars, hot chicks and brash soundtracks that get all the attention.

Thanks for the post.

Definitely worth a look volty... can be found as a torrent or a couple crappy quality versions are online and can be found from Google Video. The producers have encouraged people to distribute it as it got so little attention.

I'm looking forward to someone making a stage play out of it, think it would be a big hit if done right.
