I think im the only female that I know that likes porn,just as much as a man likes it. Probably more. Is that wrong? I mainly like lesbian porn though. But, i watch all types.

No, there's nothing weird about liking porn. It's possible that many of your friends like watching porn, but they're afraid to admit it because they don't want to be seen as sluts or something along those lines.

I propose that there are many more women out there that thoroughly enjoy porn a lot more than they would like to admit. There is a huge stigma with porn that if you enjoy it you are dirty or a pig and it's acceptable for men to love it because they are all seen as being pigs by the world lol. However, there is no reason why women shouldn't like and/or appreciate porn just as much as a man considering that it is human nature to be intrigued by how others do different things and what the whole act looks like from a view that you obviously would find difficult to see yourself doing unless you recorded yourself. It is human nature to do and think a lot of things that are simply not acceptable by the world sometimes, and I believe that enjoying porn is something that falls into that category.

Porn is a mind trip, just like fantasy. You can only watch it, you can't touch it, feel it, smell it, taste it, make love to it. But it can trigger a desire to do all these things.

If we were totally free of all traces of puritanism and sexual guilt, if we were totally free and open sexually, would we find porn interesting?

Probably not.

But it doesn't mean it is "bad", only that we have, as a specie, some way to go before we are truly guilt-free when it comes to sex.

I mean, do we watch videos of people eating their food? There isn't too much guilt about the need to eat, except in eating disorders, but there is a ton of guilt about sex, that probably predates organized religions, although these religions did not help (the idea of sin, etc etc).

Of course sex is also supposed to be private, but so is peeing...so if watching something private was the actual turn on, we would watch all kinds of strange things.

Then perhaps the weird idea of sex being "dirty" makes it more exciting for some, and that may be one of the attractions of porn in some cases.

I wonder if an animal watching porn would get aroused. If so, then I am totally wrong (obviously animals have no sexual guilt).

I enjoy looking porn, but I must admit that to me it's mostly for entertainment purposes rather than to help me become arroused. I don't have issues becoming arroused, and sometimes I just want to watch porn for the fun of it.

Porn is also a bit inspirational for things to try sexually. I've been watching porn since I was in my early teens, and I must admit that over time I've tried most things I've seen in porn. Some are fun, some are pleasurable, and some are just plain silly or a waste of time. But it's always fun to try stuff.

Possibly it's male insecurity that causes the frowning on women watching porn with phrases such as "I should be enough for you" (WHAT?).

As far as I am concerned any woman should do what she feels like doing and if she wants to watch porn that's fine. Sometimes what they want to watch can be a bit of an eyeopener.

If she wants to be alone or wants me and / or anybody else to do things for her while she is watching that is also fine. They also have to acknowledge that there is a limit to the number of people that you can get in a wardrobe and that chains and hobnailed boots can be very noisy at night.
