I have been asked this question by best my best friend and my wife in years gone by. What a terrible question, it is laden with negativity.
I interpret this question as a statement "I hope you are not homosexual". It is almost a retohical question.
When I have been asked this question I have always responded no of course not. The framing of the question and my response help to facilitate years of denial of my bisexuality.Had the question been framed differently I might have come to an earlier realisation.
How would you respond to this question?
