Hi, just thought i'd start a little thread to quickly introduce myself. I've put it in the main forum so apologies if it's in the wrong place.

I'm a 29 year old bi guy from Glasgow, Scotland with no bi experience. I've known for years about my bi side but it's mainly a sexual thing (eg, i get off on gay porn, have a dildo which i use regularly but don't actually want a relationship with a man - it's just sexual). I'm in a relationship of almost 10 years, my girlfriend doesn't know about my bi side and I don't think she'd take it very well so as a result I dont have any gay/bi friends (well, one friend who's a lesbian but she knows a lot of my other friends so I can't risk telling her) and obviously no experience.

I have no intention of cheating on my girlfriend so i'm not just on here looking for sex - it just seems like a friendly place where I can talk about my bi feelings and maybe even make a bi/gay friend or two.

This looks like a great site/forum for someone in my situation so hopefully you'll all be getting to know me quite well ;)

everyones definition of bisexual is so different, some enjoy just the sex part of it and some even though not very sexual like the relationship part of it, but then that is the same with straight and gays too.. Glad to hear you have no intention of cheating on your gf since that never ends good. you have to think though that she really doesnt know you since you hide part of who you are from her. not bashing you , just food for thought. anyways welcome and hope you enjoy it here..

Hi Glasgow. I'm also new to the site, and it seems that I have a very similar predicament to you. I am bi, yet not not wish to have a same sex relationship (except for a purely sexual one, but even then I'm too terrified to go out and find a guy!), which means that I too wish to have a straight relationship and somehow have my gay side 'out in the open' so to speak, without it being a huge problem for my partner.

Which basically means that I can't really help with your problem..but hopefully you'll get some comfort in knowing that you're not alone.
