watch this. It's good to see him preach about the lack of weapons of mass destructions, but the presence of weapons of misdirection right in front of Dubya.

He'll make Warren and his hateful, homophobic conservatives look like the fools they are.

I understand the politics involved in picking Warren, but I don't like it and think it's a mistake.

I do wish he would have chosen someone else--like Reverend Gary Boyd who is an evangelical minister who went against the feelings of the majority of his congregation and came out with positions on matters like abortion, gay rights, the environment, the "war against terror" and other issues that are totally contrary to what is the normal views on those issues by such people.

When Boyd came out his positions----he immediately lost about half of his church's congregants.

To me--the choice of Boyd would have been a much better one--I am sure there are other ministers that would have served well in giving the blessing---Rev Lowry among them! Having a stalwart of the Civil Rights campaigns and one of the last of MLK, Jrs generation would have been a great choice.

It's not surprising at all that Rick Warren was picked, and just why he was picked by Obama to give the invocation at his inauguration ceremony.

Yep. . .People believed they were getting a certain bill of goods with Pres-Elect Obama.

I think they're just now finding out about the fine print.

You don't have to be a historian to see Obama's history of terrible choices in preachers. Let's not forget Mr. Donnie "I'm no longer one of those gay sinners" McClurken. But then again, I'm always gonna question why there needs to be a preacher involved in anything government related anyhow. Keep your church away from my state.

And many of us were warning folks about it, however were labeled righty, racist, lots of bad stuff...as I had said we just don't know enough about him and he is a Chicago politician...hell any politician from Illinois is bad news...really bad news 90% of the time

I thought you were expecting "change" with Obama. I told you time and time again, he is no different than any other policitian. They (collective) are cheats, lairs and users, as all politicians are, they are all the same period. Use and push aside anyone for power. Wait until you see real "Chicago style" politics in action. Obama's nominations look like a former "Clinton" adminstration resume. Anyone who fell for "change" should be embrassed now, you were used and fell into the trap. Meet the "new" boss, same as the old boss!!!

Thank you Taylor, I didn't see you're posting first. "Buyer beware" is what I said before. Weakness invites agression, all you have to do is think about Bidens words about Obama being tested.
