My ex husband is a bloomin twit.

My ex husband is a lazy good for nothing so and so.

And never showed himself to be until he decided that it would be awesome to NOT WORK.

This may seem rather disjointed, but check this out.. (aka Cliffs Notes)

Back in 1996, we moved to Arizona. He was working with his great aunt and great uncle rebuilding engines at Engine Supply INC off of Thomas Road in Phoenix. His family would veritably pay the bills, but he would take the bulk of the money and blow it on alcohol ( he was only 18/19 at the time, but he would EASILY pass as WAY older--with a full beard!! crazy shit). He would get up at about 4:30-5:00 in the am, but only after he had drank himself retarded from the time he got home at about 3:00pm til about oh... lets say for sport, 3 in the morning!!

Well, he would tell his mother some fkkn sob story (sob as in weeping.. OR SOB as in sonovabitch) about how he was doing and some crap and "oh i SO miss you guys", and they would ship him, U.P.S., FOOD.

Let me explain somethin. Behind the apartment complex in which we lived (which was on a main, busy street, called West Indian School Road), there is/was a grocery store called "Fry's". 3 Phoenix blocks (because their city blocks are mindboggling) away in the opposite direction is/was a grocery store named "Smith's".WELL within walking distance. And they shipped him FOOD. Like chips, and bananas, and apples, and candy and cookies, and yada yada yada. FOR HIM AND HIM ONLY. Fkk his wife (literally? dont think so!). Apparently they mustve thought we didnt know how to go shopping.

Meanwhile as a wedding gift, in a box with my name on it, they sent me collanders, measuring cups, measuring spoons, a baking pan, and a cookie sheet. :banghead: They sent him as a wedding gift in a box with HIS name on it a TV, a VCR, and more ffkn video games.

Oh did I forget to mention that he has an affinity for video games. Never did he once put forth an effort to clean the house, wash any dishes, and when he lost his job for continually calling off for being too drunk and hung over, played same aforementioned video games until the cows came home.

A couple years later, we lived in Barberton, Ohio, not far at all like a cool crisp 10 minutes from his parents (10 minutes if taking the Expressway). I worked, he alleged that "I'm going to a temp agency" while I worked 8 hours a day split shifts in a restaurant walking 30 minutes in the cold and snow (just one way for example) while he had a car that we had bought ( with a grand of my money of course) that he refused to fix... he was too busy playing video games.

Meanwhile, his parents SHIPPED HIM FOOD.

Yes, SHIPPED HIM FOOD, while they lived a whole 10 minutes expressway, 20 minutes on the main roads, in the SAME FKKN STATE!!

Needless to say we got divorced.

Years later, him being the same age as Jesus when "the Lord" got baptised in the Jordan (30 years old), my ex's mother bought him one of those video game chairs.. you know the ones, with the speakers and the volume buttons and all of that jazz. Thirty years old. Babied like a 2 month old.

So yeah its "bollox".

And oh yeah. We lived together after we got divorced for "rental" reasons.

And all I can say is...

DONT DO IT ITS A TRAP. If one is so desperate to save money that they put emotions on the line, ( "oh it wont be a problem"---BULLSHIT just wait until you are in close quarters again... all the memories of douchbaggery will come welling back to the surface like "a bubblin crude") then maybe it would be best to find a close FRIEND who is actually worth half a damn to help instead of someone who has proven themselves UNdependable.

Sounds to me like he was just a symptom of bigger issues that his family enables. So it wasn't him as much as it was his screwed up family and the way they raised him.

Of course, that doesn't make him any less screwed up.
