Hello everyone :)

We're going to stray a bit from the political topix ( LOL ) and type about

bisexuality and porn!!!

I know that as a community we appreciate a good porno from time to time. Whether its more chicks than dOOds, or more dOOds than chicks, or all dOOds, or all chicks. Yes, we like porn.

But arent we all worth more than porn?

I mean really, bisexuality is a sexual choice, a personal preference. And as humans we have a sex drive for whatever we choose ( even though the choices may not be the right ones)--yes we ARE sexual creatures.

The bisexual community center in our area is having, in honor of national bisexuality day september 23rd, a bisexual "porn off" as it were... to celebrate our bisexuality. 3 short stories ( If I'm helping spread the word, any publicity is good publicity) with no more than 10,000 words each. Entry fees and all that jazz. The stories must be about sexual relationships between 2 or 3 people.

Thats kewl tho. There's places like that online, like literotica.com and even plenty of books at borders, barnes and noble, et al.

But are we a sum of those parts? Is that all there is?

Lets compare.

Bisexuals dont have clubs for them. Bisexuals dont have cool tee-shirts, hats, jewelry. Go online and look for something like that. You'll find some rather cheesy stuff (gay pride has better sh*t... serious). Try finding a campground that is LGBT oriented... not just MM or FF. They separate the camp sites. Where is a bisexual to go?

Now, we may seem like we're ranting a bit (as cho bitches and shaves) but, why does it have to be about sex ALL THE TIME? I know we're a classy bunch (LMAO!!!!:cutelaugh)... cant we do something better than sex stories?

It would've been interesting if the folks up here wanted everyone to make their own MMF or FFM movies. THAT would've been interesting at least.. better than the naked twister we were expecting the last time.;)

As 31cho says "we bisexuals have feelings... other than in our crotches":tong:

Maybe not exactly what you were after but I thought it'd be worth sharing. You're presenting a view that bisexual folk think with more than their sexual desires. Well, from personal experience I concur.

Last night I spoke on the phone to elian. The simple matter of it was I had tired of getting interrupted mid-conversation while online with him. Brother's girlfriend is living here with us, and she's a bit of shit stirrer.

So, figured after talking to him online for some time on and off, we should actually hear one another. I think and feel it cemented something for us. Actually hearing him was blissful.

And we really did our best to not to get carried off on sexual tangents. Although, I think we did skirt along some very sensual and passionate thoughts. I was left feeling like I just wanted to be with him, in any capicity, all night.

This morning I woke in my wife's arms. Kissed her as I got out of bed. I'm here for her. Oddly I've never really had issues of being with one and thinking of another.

I'm here for them both as far as I'm concerned. When I'm with one, then so it is, with the other then so it is. It may seem a paradox then for me to say I'm here for both. But to me it isn't, I love them both, elian and my wife.

And yes love includes sex. But, it isn't all sex. I'm okay with that, too. Yeah, bisexual folk need places to go out in public with their couples. No one really bats an eye when two lesbians walk by embracing, or when two queers walk by holding hands. Imagine though the stir when a guy/gal is walking between a guy and a gal, embracing both.

I borrow a _Twelve Monkey's_ line ... Brad Pitt says it well. "Fuck the Bozos!"
Seriously, why must there be such a taboo stigma? We're in what 2008 now?

Shit we ought to have flying cars, too. Damn it I want an Astro dog that defies gravity. I guess I'll have to vote for Wintermute, or Cthulu. It really makes me irked to think folks can't be happy and enjoy letting others be happy. Isn't that what tolerance is about? Live and let live.

Nah, they gotta smear bisexual folks as folks who can't make up their minds, or folks that won't admit being homosexual, or porn freaks.

Here's a clue.

Yes I'm homosexual, but only half way so. The other half of me enjoys a heterosexual life. I love both halves as they make me whole, no desire to submit to one alone. So, when I say I love my wife and boyfriend, or boyfriend and wife, that's exactly what I mean. It doesn't mean I can't make my mind. I've made it up so much it wears hospital corners. I choose to not decide between two paths, instead taking a third down the middle.

Porn? Well, alright once in a bit I do enjoy a healthy dose of raunchy pictures. Most often it's hardcore stuff involving threesomes, foursomes, guys on guys, gals on gals, guys on gals and so on. But, it's a healthy dose in moderation. Like straight folks don't look at porn? Like gay folks don't?

So yeah, "fuck the Bozos!"

My two cents............
There are traps in life that are too numerous to mention. Some are obvious such as crack cocaine or driving after guzzling Jack Daniels.

Some such as porn can reach out to bite you if not careful.
At times in balance and moderation they can significantly enhance your life. But if you let it get out of control you take the chance of losing touch with healthy behaviors and open yourself up to false expectations.
This site although new to me seems to offer a good balance of thoughtful insights, a dose of humor and enough sexiness to give me the shivers and toe curls while suplementing my fantasies and imagination.

I make a point of not backing up any porn I have on my computer - that way WHEN (not if) I have to reload Windows all those naughty things go with it.

Easy simple way to try and take more interest in the world around us then in some gushing boy twitching, thrusting and moaning out of control or chick sounding like a motorboat as she bangs her head repeatedly into the shared wall of the apartment next door. I mean, the least they could do is sync the sound effects to the action.

Porn is interesting in that it has proven to me that I am in fact attracted to both sexes - sometimes it's interesting to see just how creative people can be..but the interest still isn't the same as getting really know someone in real life.

Is the big thing with being "gay" isn't it - I've lamented the fact that no one thinks twice when a young guy/girl pair kiss each other playfully in public. I think just about the only place two gay people could do that in public would be DC (saw his first gay kiss while visiting the mall). Is one of the reasons I've fought myself so hard ABOUT my sexuality - because certain aspects of it AREN'T easy. It's hard enough for G/L people to meet that things are sometimes more rushed than they ought to be..do I regret it? - not really - but it IS a different aspect of life vs. straight.

Don't tell him I said so but Void can actually be pretty sweet guy..sometimes the points he makes are a little rough around the edges but I dunno - find him more interesting than your average "Lets' watch America's Funniest Home Videos and f'k like bunnies!!" type of guy. My point was that the show had really had gone downhill over the years - his point was that maybe America just wasn't as funny as it used to be .. I dunno <smiles>
