While I do like to obviously opine of issues of relavance to life today--beyond sex--and to me politics is important, especially now since who is running things does affect all aspects of our lives including sex and maybe even especially sex---I do like to try to see things from the various viewpoints--and to the troll who says I just make stuff up --do you not read my posts very carefully??? I put all kinds of links to materials that I use to bolster my arguments for my points of view and do also, provide contrary information and opinions as well.

So in the interest of being "fair and balanced" and "we report, you decide" I have gone Googling on the 'net and found various opinons and observations, etc. relating to Sarah Palin from the perspective of the religious/social conservatives--so go read them and make up your own mind.

Something of interest about Palin-not exactly either pro or con about her-but the essay provides info about that christian successionist group that Palin has been reported to have some relationship with:

I could go on and list many more such articles--they are not all that comprehensive-and it must be that much of the internal conservative network internet material must be blocked from Google searches---I would really like to be a fly on the wall and hear from the various fundamentalist religious people what they do know about Sarah Palin and what they feel about her. I do take from what I have read in some of this material--many evagelical, fundamentalist type of religious folks don't know too much about Sarah Palin either--but from what they hear from her and know of her lifestory--she is one of them and she is someone who not only "talks the talk" of being a conservative, social christian--she truly "walks the walk" too.

That is fine in America that people have their views and live their lives accordingly--but I don't have to like it that she is running for an important national post--one that in the stoppage of heart in the next minute---she can become "Madam President."

She does seem to be a very strong adherent to Christian Dominism and that is a scary, scary thing to me and should be to each and every person-at least those who reside in America on this site since we all don't conform to their vision of the way people should be-and to the most extreme of such people--to not believe in their way means that you do deserve to lose your life so you can go to hell where you belong.

I am sure that Sarah Palin would not be so foolish as to actually say such things-but I have heard many times---the leaders of this strain of fundamental christianity making the case that those who "don't kneel down before Jesus---will fall before his sword" as I recently watched one such preacher on one of those christian television networks say most plainly and clearly.

I do admit --with some of the things Democrats do in terms of taxation and business regulation--I am not so fond of that aspect of their agenda----but to me---their are things more important than money--so what if you have a lot of it but you can't live life the way you want to?? That you are evil even if you hold certain thoughts contrary to the things "good thinking people" believe even if you don't necessarily act on them--but of course to these people--holding contrary thoughts alone is a sin that can't be allowed.

These people may think that life would be heaven on earth if they could get their way and everybody went around "praisin' Jesus" all the time, but to me that is my definition of hell.

Well enough of this rant--go out and seek out the information yourself on Sarah Palin if you care to--I hope you do-we do have a big and important choice come November 4, 2008--this is probably going to be one of the most critical elections in the recent history of this nation and will most likely determine one way or the other--the path we are going to follow for good or ill!

There sure is all kinds of bullshit and spin out there on both sides---and it takes a bit of work to sort through the chafe--but I thihk its vital to go those extra steps.

And to the troll and anyone else who doesn't care for me talking about such things-TOUGH---I am not stopping!! So kiss my you know what!!! (just let me know so it won't be any too clean!!!)):eek:

Peace folks!
