THERE ARE SNOBS IN CLEVELAND!!! :eek:

We all know "cleveland"... the "mistake on the lake", former home of eliot ness, (yes its a fact!!) stomping ground of the likes of bob hope, halle berry, and drew carey... but OMFG, Captain! there be snobs here!!! :tong: (bit o' Trek reference)

My definition of a snob is someone that goes ON and ON ad nauseum about how much money so and so has, and how much property so and so has, and blah blah blah i have money and yakkity yakkity i have possessions...

What these humans fail to realize is this...

Its not the fact that one has stuff that makes me pissy, (everyone has stuff) it is the incessant yada yada about it--its like DOOD!!! I KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE!!! GET OVER IT PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSEEE
Its as if they actually get off on materialism... (maybe they are the type to dry hump their ethan allen furniture or something) Those also are the same people that go on and on and on about themselves without letting anyone get a word in edgewise!

Is it jealousy? NAH. I dont want the incessant bills that go along with living excessively. I'm no where near jealous of that! :cool: Snobbish humans forget all too easily that everything they acquire(d) can, and considering today's economy, WILL, be taken away from them. Just. Like. That. People who live blabbing about all they have probably wouldnt be able to live without those very same items. And another thing... snooty people forget that those of us who are "underprivileged(as THEY see us)" will be able to survive economical strife, set backs, loss of jobs, etc a bit better than they.. WE'RE USED TO IT:rolleyes: We are the modern versions of "hearty stock" as it were;)

But as aforementioned, DAMN! Its CLEVELAND, not fkkn NYC, or San Fran, or even the Caymans! I wish some people would get their head out of their asses ..

Snob shouldn't define just a person with money. Reealistically it also applies to people who lord something over another...whether it be experiences or aquisitions. One of my problems on this website in past years has been the "Experience Snobs". In my day to day life I do my best to not spread that kind of denigration.

Life shouldnt Be about money, wealth, power and prestige. It should be about heart and soul; 2 factors that people lose sight of entirely too much nowdays. And, maybe he is trying to make himself look larger that life. Hmmmm, compensation for his small assets maybe? *Snicker*
