Anyone else not like the logo?

Gotta be honest, more times I see it, the less I like it. I simply do not identify with it on any level, anyone else feel that way?

I am not sure what you mean? What logo? Are you referring to the four people at the top of the home page? If so, I pretty much agree with you.

I don't pay any attention to it---no big deal to me one way or the other---I think it is just fine actually.

The bi flag? :flag2:
I think it looks pretty cool and I identify with it.

I put it on my computer desktop as wallpaper yesterday but I quickly changed it back today. :)

There are several different logos. Personally I like the one with overlapping triangles.

I would have voted against it, but since it already exists all I can do is snarl at it. The flag and the triangles suck. The colors suck. It all sucks. In that way, I do identify with it, as someone who sucks. Maybe that is what they were going for. I would be openly bisexual if we had a decent symbol. These symbols are embarrassing. There isn't one decent bisexual logo designer in the world?

For some reason, in the Internet cafes on GTA IV, the desktops are in the bisexual colours (although I think its unintentional).

If your talking about the rainbow logo with colors, really don't have an opinion. I do however like the stainless logos, and when wearing even helps meet a few new experiences.

Do you know if it's possible to date men in it along with women? Apart from that certain mission? The profiles all include "Date" buttons on LoveMeet but I'm not much into the inconvenience of having a partner in the game at the moment since I just want to do the missions at the moment, so I haven't checked.

That hunting show on the radio in Vice City Stories has a bisexual character. Maurice from the Radio in San Andreas says some things that might be bi, if I remember correctly (and he's voiced by the bisexual Andy Dick).

Bully/Canis Canem Edit has a bisexual main character too (in that kissing certain men and women is possible and his health is replenished by both).

I notice the colours a lot but yeah, the times it's a coincidence (which is probably most of the time) is unclear.

Yeah, I meant the Bi Flag.

I don't like any of it. It is not something that I look at and admire for any reason. Not much thought went into it in my opinion. It looks like a knock off of the GL flag, which to me is just insulting....because we are very different.

I'm looking into it to much perhaps, but thats my 2 cents. And I don't mind if anyone admires it as beauty is in the eye of the blah blah. Just my opinion.

I thought that the OP was talking about the Bisexual.com logo with the cute little virtual people--but maybe he or she is talking about the Bi flag----perhaps the OP needs to make clear what they were talking about when they were referring to "the logo."

He posted a picture of it at the top of his post.

mindfinding, you could design one you like more and see if it might take off. Maybe some people here could make suggestions. :)

You rule, TWICE!

1. for pointing out I listed the logo I was speaking of, thus preserving my honor. *ty

2. Create a logo?....Not a bad idea.

Do you have any ideas?

Oh OK, duh, got it now. In that case, I agree with the original post.

Nope....
can't ever say ive cared for it.. Im not much into teh "pinky-purpley, swishysweet flaggyness" of it.. but it doesn't torque me off or anything.

Once I saw a pic of a beautiful anklet in silver:
It was a triske(now I've gone braindead!)-something or other.. a 3 looped unending knot(liek teh celtic Goddess symbol.. but not).. with a sliding silver bead. You could place the bead on a loop as to your bisexual prefernces even- one side for male,female.. or on teh middle loop for equal leanings! It was actually quite handsome.

Does anyone know where to get those?

I agree the flag is a bit of a cop out symbol, it would seem. I get the idea and such behind it but it isn't terribly original is it?

I do like the triskele/triple yin-yang that Ferocious posted, now that is something different, and something I would have a personal affinity to (I seem to have an affinity with triskele (Triple Spiral), and the way it's all connected together in a happy harmony is nice. So I vote for the triskele/triple Yin-Yang over the flag.

I don't have any suggestions for another symbol. :(

Here are different LGBT symbols with their meanings explained (scrolling down, you can see the occasional bi-specific one): http://www.lambda.org/symbols.htm

I think the flag looks a little too feminine. I get the idea... blue/pink... purple. I get it and it's clever and all.... but I don't really identify with it

This topic is good timing for me cause I've been looking to get a tattoo that clearly shows my being bi. But do you think I can find anything that really wows me? The flag just doesn't scream out bisexual to me, or anything for that matter. The 2 attached moons that moonm8 shows isn't bad and I found a pic of them in bi colors. I kinda like the rainbow rings too if they were in bi colors. If anyone has anything interesting please let me know.

Wow. actually i was thinking about triads when did that. But now that you mention it, it does make a cool bi symbol, and maybe I'll make some sculptly beads with it on them. thanks!

A favorite of my from the Netherlands is this: it is a mobius loop with the bi colors on it. With a mobius loop you can travel to both sides in the same path.

One mission is where you go on a date with a man who you have to kill. I don't think its possible to date men though. There is a guy Niko was in the army with who is gay, and is having an affair with a very conservative politician. He's pretty much a very stereotypical homosexual person.

I got to dinking around in Paint Shop Pro and came up with a rough draft of one I haven't seen yet just for the heck of it, . . . and it is "rough". LOL.
Two female symbols and two male symbols on top of a "World Map" kind'a thingy. If you click on it, it'll enlarge so you can see it a little better.

Ya I agree the bi flag is pretty lame. I always thought a ying-yang type symbol would be the most appropriate and in responding to this post I discovered the Australian bisexual network's symbol which I like alot. I also really like the one posted by FerociousFeline. That one's pretty cool too.

Well so far as I can see,

Most people don't relate to the flag, or the GLBT flag.

We agree it needs to be changed....but then do we need one period?

and.....

Some gay dude in Spain thought he should message me to tell me I'm not bi so I shouldn't care. I found that one odd.

Well . . . here's a thought. (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b73/earthofmine/photoshop/bi_logo_simple.png) About 10 mins' work in Photoshop, I've a fancier version (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b73/earthofmine/photoshop/bi_logo_fancy.png) that's all textured etc. that was about 20 mins' work, but for a simple logo it's a tad over-fancy. The idea was, obviously, inspired by the triple Yin Yang that FerociousFeline posted, but my thought was that it would make more sense to have a two-halved symbol as it would be more instantly representative of bisexuality rather than something more triune in appearance.

P.S. hello forum . . .

Skinsinger, nice work. I'm not a yingyang guy myself, but your style and shading are very well done. A fellow graphics guy in Canada tips his hat to you.
