I know a couple of you have "Met up" with other members from this site, but I wanted to be nosey and ask: If you have nmet people from this site, how did it turn out?"
I just recently met a handsome young man from this site, and he was delightful! I invited him to attend a play party with the Lifestyle group that I am in, and he came. (Er, showed up, attended) Altho I was a tad nervous, he turned out to be sweet, funny, intelligent and just a great guy. I wont "Out" him so I'll let him tell you who he is if he chooses to. I told him to go into the group and gloat if he wanted to..lol..:) He was greated warmly by the people of my group, and they opened up to him immediately. I think he has found a "Home" in the group and I was told to bring him back anytime. :}
If fact, he was so liked that he was mo'lested by my sis several times thru the course of the evening. But ya'll didnt hear that from me....:angel:

He was sweet, wonderful and gentle - we made love several times during out weekend together . I would welcome any repeat of that weekend.

At the weekend I met a woman in a pub and after talking a while I discovered that she was a member of the site. We were getting on quite famously it seemed to me, but it all fell rather flat as she began to niggle away at the most petty things and picking fault in almost everyone around. I was getting a bit agitated by her attitude and she stormed off in the end with the words 'stuck up b***h' ringing in my ears. I know not every member is like that and maybe she was having an off day. But I reflected to myself, I had just had a lucky escape.

Nope, not yet. But then, I guess most of you seem to live the other side of the pond, or up-north those over here.

Not that I'm giving up hope any, I would love to be able to use this to network and find fellow bis out there in my area. Or just natter on here via forums has certainly enlightened me to some honest opinions from people that I was previously ignorant to. It's certainly opened my eyes some and I crave to see more (sorry if that sounded rude in any way, wasn't meant to).

I've met three people using this site - a single man, and a couple. I don't regret any of the experiences I've had. The single gentleman was a nice guy, but he wasn't interested in a committed relationship. The couple, up until now I have been talking to almost on a daily basis with IM - they are both wonderful people - went down to FL to visit with them and we had a great time. The only problem I have is the distance - you can do a LOT with a chat window and a cam - but it's no substitute for human contact. Tried to tell myself that the distance wouldn't matter - but when it came down to it - I wanted to be able to REALLY be with the person I loved.

They are both wonderful people, I feel like a fool for walking away from an intimate, caring relationship with the best friend I've had in a very long time - but I think the distance would keep coming up as an issue - and right now there is nothing I can do to move closer.

Hope one day we can still be friends, but right now there are still a lot of hurt feelings.

I found myself particularily angry with the "sanctity of marriage" people yesterday - they have no idea what it is like to be in pain, to want to cry, to want to scream - and yet you have to remain silent to participate in their perfect little world. If marriage is so damn precious, I think we should also have an state constitutional amendment to make getting a divorce illegal too - I mean, why not call this shit what it is - discriminatory hatred by a bunch of holier than thou people who have no fucking clue what it's like to have to go through something like this.

I don't regret having met them for one minute, but I can't help but think that if gay relationships didn't not have to be hidden in the closet maybe we all wouldn't have to look so far from home to find someone to love. The only "gay scene" around here seems to be "clubs" - and that's something that I'm just not into.

We've met several people from this site over the last couple of years or so...some were people we'd met prior to them coming here to Bisexual.com but have since joined, and others we've met through Bisexual.com. Regardless of the when, how, and why...all times were wonderful and heart warming.
The latest involved two very talented musicians one of which was accompanied by his wife and we spent an afternoon jamming on guitars....
Our meeting of people may not always be sexual but it often falls into the many meandering paths of sensual...and hopefully we'll meet many others bfore this journey comes to a close.

From this site we've been very fortunate to meet 2 couples as a couple. We had many awesome times with one couple and a one time meeting with another wonderful couple.

Also from this site I've met 2 really nice guys at separate times. I've had an ongoing thing with one but our schedules (especially mine) made it very difficult and I haven't seen him in a while. Would love to get that going again. :tongue:

We have been in search of a bi couple and have received many offers from bi men which we are considering. This is the best web site that we have found for the Bi Community that is on the giant web. We have run into some very nice and informative people since we are new to the bi arena, We have been swingers for several years and the swing sights are not appropriate for bi sexual couples. Our hopes of meeting and actually getting together with people on here is very high. At this time we are not able to travel to far places or certain areas in the US, But in the future who knows. I can proudly say that I have met 8 people from this site, and have yet to have a bad encounter. Each meeting brought about something special and unique. One recent special highlight was meeting a wonderful couple for an afternoon and evening of music making, firelight, and warm conversation. (and some great lasagna) That night ended way too soon for me. An added element is being able to involve my wife in meeting people from the site; something that just a few years ago, would have been impossible. I think she has derived as much joy from meeting my friends as I do, and we both want to meet more friends from the room. :bigrin:

Apparently this particular post fell through the cracks while Drew was deleting them and was posted before the ban took place. The "banned" designation is merely the present, updated status of this poster. So far Drew has done a wonderful job of deleting offensive posts, many times before the offended party has had to witness them.
