I caught a nice view of the International Space Station flying over Southern California at 6:41p last saturday, it was hardcore. Now you're telling me on wednesday I get to see both an eclipse and a SATELLITE BEING SHOT OUT OF THE SKY!?!

It just doesn't get any better than that!

Oh man. First I get so excited over the event. Then I see the time. I guess the kids and I wont be watching this one live. Oh well 2010 is just a few years away.

I'm going to shut down all the lights, strip down to bare all, get in the hot tub, sip champagne and enjoy the show. Would be nice if a man is there with me to conclude the show with a happy ending

I have been in and out on watching it. There is a high, thin overcast layer of cirrus clouds...so unfortunantly I can only see the disk of the moon being covered, no real detail. Pretty cool none the less!

Just watched the eclipse for the first time!!! I shared the experience with my son. Just us two :tong:, great family experience. If nothing else, we told some really bad jokes to each other and had fun:tongue:

We had high thin clouds here but at the near full eclipse there was a break in the clouds. So I ran, woke the kids up and they were awe struck. Thanks for the heads up. Delilah, hope you were able to find what you were looking for.

I was just out there a bit ago---it is nice and clear here-something it has not been the past few nights and isn't going to be tomorrow night according to the forecast---it was way too cold to stay out there too long here--it's only about ten or so degrees here---

It was pretty though---

Sorry to hear that man. You get a chance to see any pics on the net or TV at least?

Most of my dorm-mates and I went on a walk to the grocery store while it was starting to eclipse. When we got back to the dorm it was almost fully eclipsed. It was nice.

I'm disappointed. I thought 'lunar Wednesday night' meant something sexual.
