This is quite upsetting news. This news comes directly from a very good Irish friend of Donna's (hunnypot) that I've stayed in contact with and for anyone that cares about her, I think its important to get this out:

I'm rewriting this a bit to make more sense. "Last Friday night, Donna had a massive heart attack. She hasn't regained consciousness as of yet and the doctor's believe it's unlikely she will but we all live in hope. She is currently stable but critical in the local hospital here in Clonmel(Ireland) and being very well looked after. Please tell any of her online friends of this. Cheers"

I feel numb at the moment and feel completely useless. There was no other way than to say it the way I heard it and allthough she has not been on bicom for the last year, I know there are plenty here that love and care for her and wish her only the best. I know my heart is sunk at the moment and my face is incredibly tear stained. Let there be no greater force in the world to show her than the love, prayers, and support of friends and family.

All my love goes out to Donna and her friends and family. There's nothing I want more right now than to be by her side, but that cannot be. Feel free to post any of your well wishes and I will keep you updated as I hear it.

luv and kisses...........xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox...... ....Rachelle

Ms. Rachel;
Even tho I dont know her, I pray to the Spirits that she will be well, or that her journey on the Path Home is peaceful and tranquil.
Our best wishes to her family and friends.

With this prayer let it not yet be time before the knowledge of the love of family and friends known and unknown to embrace and keep her-And without
which by the mercy of creation she shall not pass on.

Wow, I am absolutely stunned. I will be praying that a miracle happens and we get our sassy lass back. She's far too young to be suffering this.

Thank you for letting us know Met. Big hugs to you as I know you must be hurting right now. muah!

Stunned is not the word.....

I had not even finished reading the note from Rachelle when I dialed Used Bear to tell him of the news. I did not want this dear sweet friend to find out by reading. He was lucky that Rachelle had called him and told him in person. What a love they share. For no woman found her way into his heart than that fiesty little Irish Lass has. In the past year she has never been far from my thoughts or my best wishes for her. She found a good woman and one who enjoys a very special place in her heart, across the miles their hearts shared joy and love.

My thoughts go out to Donna's family in Ireland and her family of friends and supporters on this Bi Site.

Earlier this evening I posted to a thread about the infighting that has been going on this site. That showed the worst of the intollerance of the people here.......now let us look toward this thread and see the care and concern of another member who gave of themselve over and over and who has come to mean so much to so many of us. The goodness of this site shall shine as the sparkle in Hunny's eyes and those glorious works of art.

With all my thoughts and love,

Belle

OMG I cannot even fathom this news!!! I just can't accept that this has happened to her!! She is such a dear, dear person and has been through so much....she is sooo loved...and I, for one, considered her one of my own...she called me mum...and I love her like a daughter!!!....I don't have the words to express my feelings right now....I am too numb to think right now.....But I promise you that she will be in my prayers and she will remain in my heart where she has been since leaving our little family a while back. Please stay in touch and keep us informed....

I love you Donna....I pray for you...please...stay strong!!!!

I am sorry to hear about Donna's situation--I have to say that I am not surprised---one night a year or so ago-Used Bear and I basically talked her out of a very precarious situation that she was going through as we chatted with her on here. I won't go into anymore details than that, but it was very close to a life or death situation.
I do hope that some miracle takes place and she does recover, but if not---I hope she passes from this life more peacefully than her short life obviously has been.
I can only speculate at what may have caused a heart attack to take place in such a young woman---but I must say that it would not be a surprise either based on what I do know about things in her life.
I really had hoped she would find her way out of the negative things in her life--she was in school for a time and gving it a go--like most of us--she had so many talents and potential----it is a very sad thing...
I guess there is not much more I can say....

As a member new to this site in the last year, I never had the pleasure of getting to know Hunnypot. But it is clear from all the posts that she was and is very much loved by many here. She's a member of our little family, who is in trouble and I send my strongest wishes for her recovery. And to those so affected by this sad news, take comfort in each other. We're all we have.

My heart goes out to her.

I would suggest that everyone couple their prayers with her name while visualizing the color of cobalt blue. This is the frequency upon which energy travels forward.

My prayer:

Grandfather, you who are always and ever have been,
if it pleases you to hear our prayers for one we love and care about
please bring to her our love, our hopes and our nourishing of her Spirit.
We acknowledge that our desires may differ from your plan, but we are not ready to release her into your loving care just yet.
Please restore her back to us.

Thank you to all who posted. I don't have any updates, I was just reading what was written. I can't even believe I misspelled her moniker. It's actually Huneypot, not Hunnypot, but I guess I never much called her that so didn't give it much thought.

Yes, while it's true she's been closer to death that most of us could fathom, I believe this may have been caused by the many massive meds they've had her on which may have weakened her heart. She's always had a mighty strong Irish spirit, but she's a wee Irish lass. It matters none what may have caused it. What matters is that she was trying to get on with her life. She is not gone yet and I hope she pulls through this. Right now I refuse to think that I will never get to physically lay eyes on her, kiss her, touch her, and don't even want to entertain the notion.

I haven't been around much to witness this infighting that Belle discussed, but this has always been a family community. Why can't we stop the bickering and just love each other's differences?

To Donna...Ta cupla focail Gaeilge agam. Bean mo chroi, ta tu go halainn. Eistigi liom! Sláinte agus saol chugat! If not, then oiche mhaith, codladh samh. Siochan leat, a chuisle mo chroÃ*.

I'm sure very little of that's correct, but she always understood my poor Gaelic attempts. Let's all smile now, shall we?

Thanks for that Meteast---tell Huney that she is in my thoughts and prayers and that I do hope she pulls through----her physical heart may be damaged---but she has great heart in the non-physical sense----if anyone can pull through--she can.

Rach,
Thank you for letting us know something. I too am speechless, in shock, sad, tearful....and every other emotion we are all feeling.....
Huney is such a wonderful person. I have the Hope and Faith that she will find her place back to us.

I wont get too religious here.....However, I do believe in miracles and the peace and grace of a Higher Power (God) for me........

So my dear sweet Donna.... to all the talks we had....all the times we laughed so hard we cried, cried so hard we laughed, for all the good times we all had....all the happy memories.......I send them your way.....Catch them my dear....Remember, as I have told you many times.....You are very loved!!You have many friends that consider you a sister/daughter/soulmate/chat friend........

In my words....God Bless you my friend!

In other words....

Just as the soft rains fill the streams,
pour into the rivers, and join together in the oceans,
so may the power of every moment of your goodness
flow forth to awaken and heal all beings--
those here now, those gone before, those yet to come.

By the power of every moment of your goodness,
may your heart's wishes be soon fulfilled
as completely shining as the bright full moon,
as magically as by a wish-fulfilling gem.

By the power of every moment of your goodness,
may all dangers be averted and all disease be gone.
May no obstacle come across your way.
May you enjoy fulfillment and long life.

For all in whose heart dwells respect,
who follow the wisdom and compassion, of the Way,
may your life prosper in the four blessings
of old age, beauty, happiness and strength.

Much love and many many prayers,
Ladyd

I once used to visit this site many, many times a day, and I know myself among others had their days brightened by Huneypot's appearances in the chat, and her friendliness and warmth.
From every inch of my being I wish her health and that she may come back to our world every inch a stronger being. Until that time she is in my thoughts, as are you Met. I hope all will be well soon.

Arana's little Tinker Bell reminded me that huney loves movies and that in some ways huney is our Tinker Bell...

From the 1960 US TV version:
Peter Pan (speaking to Tinker Bell): "...Your voice is so low I can hardly hear you. What's that? You say you can get well again...if children believe in fairies!"

So children...let's all believe in fairies...

I'm feelin' the love, I really am. I asked her friend if he knew what happened and he said for the time being they don't know what happened nor what may have caused it. I suppose it doesn't so much matter right now, but curiosity has gotten the better of me, so I asked. Can't blame a girl, right?

I was blessed this week to meet in person someone from this site "jo69guy". And while we were spending our days together a phone call was made and we got word from our ever lovin usedbear about Donna. I've had some wonderful conversations with her and she is the sweetest.

Add more prayers to the list from jo69guy, flounder and I.

I've only just had enough courage to face reading this thread I'm so pleased my friends told me about huney first I cant thank them enough.

I cant find the words to say how much huneypot meant to me suffice to say my heart feels like its been ripped out a torn to pieces.

I have been praying hard every day for her to pull through; and have down loaded a Buddhist prayer wheel for her as she had a big interest in Buddhism.

I also pray to the gods for my friends who I know are also hurting badly I'm always here for them should they need to chat.

Ah yes...a firecracker is right! I loved our little group chats we had on yahoo...and hearing her cute little accent....those were fun times! You can't help but be drawn to this girl.

I haven't talked to her in a long time (or to many of you)...but i do think about all of you. And this news....shocked me...didn't seem real...and I really had no idea what to even say about it. It is so nice to have Rachelle (I know I prob spelled that wrong...sorry!)...anyway...it is nice to have updates.

I hope it is ok...but I also want to take a min to say I appreciate the friendships I have made on here. Even tho I don't come on much anymore...alot of people on this site gave me some strength and encouragement during times I needed it. Also helped me learn alot about myself. This really is a wonderful group.

Anyway...I wish her the best...and continue to get strength. And thank you again Rach for the updates.
