Just wondering if anyone here has interests in ghosts, paranormal stuff? Tv shows, pics, movie clips? I do searches but always seem to come back to the same things, looking for new stuff. I do enjoy watching on A&E the show Paranormal. Any good stuff out there?

Well, a topic that is borderline paranormal...
I was taught a practical approach to paranormal.
I used to work with Coast Guard pilots (Coast Guard aviation - search and rescue). I remember (quite clearly) that the pilots are encouraged to 'listen to the inner voice'. Some people call them warm fuzzies. If a pilot gets a nagging feeling before or about a flight, then the pilot should take some action. Thouroughly re-inspect/preflight the airplane, etc. This is based on the belief that many times, when bad things happened there was often a premonition before these things happened. Call it whatever you like, I then used this philosophy for riding my motorcycle. Whenever I got the bad feeling/inner voice/lack of warm fuzzies (whatever you want to call it) I would do something different... start 5 minutes early.... wait and start 5 minutes late... drive my truck instead. I must say, on my worst accident, I did have that nagging feeling but ignored it. But to date it has worked in as far as I have not died or been seriously injured.
Now, of course there IS a major difference between being sensitive to your imagination/subconcious/inspiration/spirituality VS. really hearing voices (we're talking psychotic). If your voices are loud or tell you what to do (especially hurt someone) then you should seek medical help immediately. Nothing to be ashamed about mental ill health... kind of like having pnumonia of the brain... just need medical attention.

I spent a chilly dark midnight in a haunted theatre a few days before Halloween. With the Chester County Paranormal Society, we looked for ghosts. Using EM sensors, camreras and recording devices we searched. It was an eerie experience, but, unfortunately, no sightings.

Some friends of mine live in a large victorian house, that, at one time, was a hotel. They claim (they are good friends, so I believe them) that their house is haunted by a ships captain the once owned the house. But still, I haven't met the ghost.

I do believe they are out there, however.

I do accept the presence of 6th sense, and quite frankly I'd be a happy guy if you could show me a ghost cause as it is I do not believe in "after"...
But, that inner voice has saved my ass a couple times.

Look to your pets, dogs in particular, for evidence of that deeper sense...

I have loved paranormal things all of my life, and have been interested in these things ever since I was a kid, living on the Rez where I grew up. I have seen many things that "normal" people would consider weird and freakish, but to me they facinated me to no end. My Gramma used to tell me that each person has 'something different' bred into us all, and that we shouldnt be afraid of Spiritual and unusual occurances/experiances. I once saw Gramma staunch the flow of blood for a man that had cut the hell out of himself while cutting wood. She just held his arm tightly, closing her eyes and concentrating hard on stopping the blood until the Dr from town could be brought up to the reservation. If this had not have been done, he would have bled to death in a matter of minutes. He was just one of many things that I had witnessed her doing.
Gramma was considered a "Shamanese" in the Cherokee culture an eqivilent to a Medicine Man or Shaman. She had a 3rd grade education, but was one of the wisest persons I have ever known, and a better Herbist that anyone I have ever known.
After seeing this and other things, the "Occult" or paranormal became extremly interesting to me, and I've studied many different views on it from various cultures, and in each one there was a healer, a person who could see the past, or future, those who had pre-cognition(Second sight) and one who could talk to or see Spirits. ;]
So you see? Its not as unusual as you'd think.
There's more to heaven and earth than drempt of in our philosophy. :}

I've seen a ghost...but to try and explain the situation and circumstances would be way too involved for this forum...even stranger perhaps,,,I've been a ghost...but sadly had to give it up for my day job. I assume eventually I'll return to it full time when it's no longer necessary to maintain this physical body.
